Emmeline’s POV               Silence filled the car as we made our way back towards the packhouse. Clark’s hands gripped the steering wheel so tightly that his knuckles looked white.  I shifted in my seat uncomfortable with the overwhelming silence and tension in the air. Clark glanced at me briefly before letting out a long sigh.               “Are you sure you’re okay?” Clark asks softly. I look at him and feel myself tense up. A loud sob escapes me as tears pour from my eyes down my face. I feel like I’m suffocating as I began to hyperventilate.               As I try to gain back control over my emotions, I feel my body being lifted from my seat by a pair of large strong arms.
