Chapter 9- Tony

My breath raced as I stood at the alter waiting for the ceremony to start. So many things could go wrong from now until then. Loki could run out on me, we could have the wrong type of wine, the cake could be messed up, there were just so many ways! And then there was always the thought of me messing up and saying the wrong thing. Or worse! Not saying anything at all. A cool hand on my shoulder broke me from my thoughts. I turned to find Bruce, my best man, had gripped my shoulder. I forced a smile. "Calm down. You'll do fine." He whispered. I sighed, knowing he saw right through me. "You think so?" I asked. He nodded. "Of course. There's no way you'll mess up. You love Loki don't you?" I nodded. "Then speak straight from your heart, she'll know you mean it." I smiled, this time more sincere. "Thank you Br-" I was cut off as the music began to play. My breath caught in my throat. Loki started walking in, her beautiful green and black dress trailing behind her. Her long raven hair was half up in a pony tail that fell down onto the hair that wasn't up. The curls framed her face. She was remarkable. I smiled at her as she reached the alter. Her face was covered by her veil but I could make out her signature smirk. "You look beautiful." I whispered, turning to face Natasha who was our officiator. Loki's smirk grew. "I know." I laughed, falling forward on my toes before catching myself. "You don't look so bad yourself." I smirked, sending her a look. ~~~ "What about Valentine's Day of next year?" I suggested. Loki scrunched her nose. I quickly kissed her adorable button nose as she wasn't paying attention. She hated it when I did that but I knew she secretly enjoyed it. "That's too far away!" She complained. "And rather cliché." With a roll of my eyes, I started tickling her sides. Loki erupted into a fit of giggles. I just smiled at my dork of a fiancée, stopping a few minutes later. "Christmas?" She shook her head, not capable of forming words just yet. "Some random Tuesday in November?" She shook her head, taking in a deep breath. I nipped at her ear. "What about Halloween?" I suggested before kissing her neck. She moaned softly. "Halloween I can get behind. Out of all the holidays you Midgardians have, Halloween has always been my favorite." I smiled and captured her lips in a soft kiss. She kissed back, threading her fingers into my hair. I bit her lip as I pulled back. She giggled and set the wedding stuff off to the side. "I think that's enough wedding planning for right now." "All we got was the date." She giggled more. "That's why I said right now." Loki repeated as she started to straddle me, playing with my collar, eye gaze trailing to my chest. "I think we should bust ourselves in other matters." She smirked, her eyes meeting mine again. I chuckled. "I think I like where your mind is heading." ~~~ "I now pronounce you man and wife, you may now kiss the bride." Natasha announced. I turned to Loki, a soft smile playing at my lips, and caressed her cheek. Gently, I brought her lips to mine and we kissed. The audience burst into applause. I smiled, pulling away slightly. Loki kissed me once again. I chuckled slightly and kissed her back, wrapping my arms around her. After that, we went inside to where the reception was being held and ate dinner. Loki and I had agreed on having one Asgardian dish since there were Asgardins present, one "Midgardian" dish, and one dish we both agreed on that was a mix of both. Loki and I ended up ordering the mix of both. When dinner was over, I brought Loki up to the dance floor to have our first dance as a couple. We decided on dancing to All of Me by John Legend; we thought it was the best song for the two of us. Soon, everyone was dancing and we went to sit back down in our seats, my arm wrapped around her waist. Steve walked over with his date, Bucky, but if you called him Steve's date Steve would bite your head off. Loki and I loved teasing them about it. "Hey you two." Steve greeted as he sat down across from us. "How's the married life treating you?" Loki and I shared a smile. "Steve, we've been married for a little less then three hours." She explained. Married. We've been married. I'm married to this woman. Man, I will never hate saying that. "Oh I know. I just-" "Steve let's go dance." Bucky suggested, coming up behind the blonde. Steve blushed a deep crimson red. I smirked. "But. . . I don't know how to dance." Steve whispered. "I'll teach you, c'mon." Bucky grabbed Steve's hand and dragged him to the dance floor. Just their luck, a love song started playing. "They are obliviously in love with each other. It's adorable." Loki commented, her eyes lingering on the two before turning her attention towards me. "Yeah, I know." I leaned in and kissed her soft and beautiful lips. She sighed contently as she rested her head on my chest. "What do we do now?" She whispered. I trailed my fingers up her back. "Now?" She nodded. I shrugged. "Now we settle down and start a family. Maybe I'll retire from the superhero gig." She shook her head. "I wouldn't ask you to do that for me." She mumbled into my chest, burrowing her face even deeper. I twirled a strand of her long, curly, raven black hair around my finger. "You're not." I stated. "I'm willingly choosing you over the team." She lifted her head up, her chin digging into my chest, and smiled. I kissed her nose. This time she didn't scrunch it. "I love you." She breathed out. I smiled. "I love you too." The night partied on until it was time for Loki and I to go on our honeymoon. I decided to take her to London. She had always said she wanted to visit there someday and I'd never been there so I figured, why not? We got onto the helicopter and flew to the private suite I booked. Since it was very early in the morning, Loki changed into her pajamas and I somewhat unpacked. I heard the bathroom door unlock and outstepped my beautiful wife in some green lacy outfit. I bit my lip. She smirked, flick her hair out of the back. "Why do you even bother putting clothes on if you know I'm going to take them off?" I asked her. Her smirk grew. "Because I love teasing you." I playfully rolled my eyes, advancing on her before I was close enough to touch her. She kissed me before shoving me onto the bed. I smirked. ~~~ I curled about around Loki, the sheets pulled up to our chests. She leaned her head back so it was touching my chest. I kissed the top of her head, slowly making my way down. She giggled softly. "I love you Mr. Stark." She whispered. I bit her neck, drawing blood. She just scoffed. "I love you too, Mrs. Stark."
