Chapter 3- Tony

1020 Words
After Loki and I were done making out, I came back down to put the finishing touches on what I was working on earlier. Loki practically ran up to his room and had been in there since. Bruce kept glancing over at me every so often with this knowing look in his eyes. I didn't pay much attention to, my brain was focused on other things. Like the raven haired god I was just kissing. Why am I so drawn to him? "Hey, uh, Bruce?" I called. He looked over at me, an eyebrow quirked slightly. "I think I'm gonna go check on Reindeer Games. Make sure he's not destroying stuff I don't know about." Bruce smirked slightly. "Do you mean Reindeer Games or your new boyfriend?" He asked. I blinked a few times to get away from the shock. "Wha-what?" I stammered. "How do you- What are you talking about?" He chuckled softly. "I kinda saw your little make-out session with Loki earlier." He admitted, hanging his head slightly. I raised an eyebrow for him to continue. "I had come up since I had finished working and wanted to greet Loki. Maybe apologize for what the other guy did." He shrugged slightly. "Instead of the whole team being there, I found you two kissing." My eyes widened. "Oh. . . Um. . . Uh. . ." I mumbled. "I-I can explain." I promised. But could I? Bruce shook his head. "You don't need to explain, Tony." He assured me. "I don't care if you like girls or boys or gods that wanted to take over the world." I laughed slightly. "As long as you're happy with whomever, then that's perfectly fine." I smiled warmly at him as he patted my back. "Thank you, Bruce." "No problem." He smirked. "After all, you are my science bro." I laughed and rolled my eyes before heading upstairs to Loki's floor. I knocked on his door and waited for him to answer. After about a minute or two, he opened the door. Loki scanned the hallway, looking to see if anyone else was with me. When he found that it was just me, he pulled me into the room. "What are you doing?" I questioned as I came stumbling in. Loki turned to face me, crossing his arms. "Did I do something?" "Yes." He stated without skipping a beat. I frowned. "Stark, I don't think this would be a smart idea." He admitted softly. "I tried to take over New York a year ago. . ." He said that statement as if he were to continue but fell short. "The Avengers-" "The Avengers can kiss my ass." I remarked. Loki smiled faintly before it went away. "C'mon, Reindeer Games, we don't have to please them with our relationship, if there is one. If they have a problem with it then they can leave, it's my house after all." Loki didn't move. I took a step closer. "We can take this slow, not go public yet. No one needs to know about the two of us until we're both ready to tell them. Okay?" He nodded slightly, I took another step forward. "We can take this a slow as you want." He smiled. "I would like that." I smiled and took another step forward; I was now close enough to cup his cheek. He leaned into it. "Then will you, Loki Laufeyson, like to go steady with me?" He chuckled softly and nodded. "Yes. Yes, I would like to go steady with you, Anthony Stark." I laughed before kissing him softly. Loki sighed contently. "As slow as you want." I repeated. He nodded, wrapping his arms around my waist and burying his head into my chest. I rested my chin on the top of his head and closed my eyes. ~~~ After I had sorted everything out with Loki, I went back down to the lab. Other than Bruce, the the lab was empty. The soft hum of the classical music was the only sound down here. I smiled softly, it was just how I left it. Bruce glanced up and noticed I was there. He smiled warmly before going back to his ever growing pile of work. I walked over to my workbench and started tinkering with some of the spare parts. I glanced over at Bruce every so often. "We're officially a thing now." I admitted. I know I told Loki that we'd go slow and we will! It's just that Bruce already knew about the two of us, there was no reason to lie to him about it. He smiled, not looking up from his work. "That's great, isn't it?" I nodded. "Yeah." I agreed. "We're gonna take things slow." I stated. Bruce nodded along. "I think he's just scared about how the team would react to the two of us." Bruce raised an eyebrow. "You should've seen the way he looked when he mentioned the team and New York." I shook my head. "He acts like this tough god but he's really not." I bit my lip. "There's something we don't know about." Bruce's eyebrow went even higher. "There's a lot about the two of them that we don't know about." He remarked. I tapped my finger on my desk. "Or we think we don't know a lot about them." I corrected. "There's gotta be some facts in the myths." Bruce was silent for a moment, thinking. "We couldn't have been that oblivious if we, at some point in time, knew Thor and Loki existed." Bruce stayed silent. "Half that stuff's gotta be true, right?" "What are you trying to suggest, Tony?" He finally asked. I inhaled. "I think I've got a lot of studying to do about my new boyfriend. And I think our teammate has something to do with the way he acts." Bruce shot me a look. "Don't come in between those two, who knows what it'll cause." I shook my head. "I won't! That's not even what I want. I just need to know what went on between those two so I don't scare Loki off."
