Chapter 16- Loki

It had been a chaotic experience trying to set up small decorations in the span of like, a week. Anthony wouldn't let me do anything to be productive so I settled on making cookies. I had made more closer to the actual party so my brother (and husband) didn't eat them all. Steve was excited to celebrate Christmas with Bucky again and I was just exited to celebrate with everyone, so was Anthony. But it was weird celebrating in January. Bucky had arrived an hour ago and, seeing it was two in the afternoon, we started talking and snacking on the cookies. Anthony had his arm wrapped around my waist, his hand protectively on my bump. When we had told Bucky, he was beyond shocked. "Twins, huh?" He asked, still not quite believing it. I nodded. "Wow. That's. . . Wow." We nodded. "That's going to be quite the handful. Especially when the father's Tony." I chuckled. Anthony elbowed me lightly. I kissed his cheek. "You know I love you." I whispered into his ear. "I think my stomach is proof enough." Anthony smirked and kissed my nose before turning back to Bucky. "We'll power through." He responded. I raised an eyebrow. "Oh really?" I asked. "Because last I checked, you weren't the one that has to give birth to two babies." Anthony opened his mouth to say something. I nodded, waiting for him to speak. He just closed it again. "That's what I thought." "He's got a point, Tony." Natasha agreed. I smirked. "Whatever." He muttered. I rolled my eyes. "Why don't we open presents? Who wants to open first?" I laughed, he was trying to change the subject. "I think Steve should go first." Bucky had almost immediately replied with. Steve's cheeks and ears turned a light pink. "Why me?" He asked. Anthony and I smirked. "Because I said so." Bucky stated. "Now, I didn't have time to wrap it and well. . . I didn't think it was necessary for me to wrap it." He started. He got up and stood in front of Steve. Anthony and I shared a look, we knew what he was about to do. Bucky got down on one knee and fished something out of his pocket: a velvet black box. I smirked as the scene played out before me. Anthony did as well. "Now, I know we haven't really been dating but when I fell off the train back in our time, I thought I was going to lose you. Then when I came back, my brain was mush and I didn't know my right from my left. But you saved me from the torture HYDRA put me through. You were what re-jogged my memory. And now that I've finally got you again, I don't want to lose you. With that being said, will you marry me?" Steve was speechless for a minute as tears pooled in his eyes. "Steve?" Bucky whispered. Steve was frozen. I thought he was going to say no before his lips formed a smile. "Damn it, Bucky. Now I have to make Loki and apple pie." He cursed. I smiled and laughed. Bucky raised an eyebrow, looking over at me. "Yes, of course I'll marry you, Bucky! Why wouldn't I?" "Because it was all so sudden and. . . I know how you feel about the whole male with male thing." Steve glanced over in our direction before responding. I rested my head on Anthony's chest. He intertwined our fingers together. "True, but I've seen the way the world has accepted Loki and Tony. The world has changed Buck. It's time we do too." He responded as Bucky slipped the ring onto his finger. It was a gold band from what I could see, with sapphires engraved around it. Bucky wrapped Steve in a hug as Anthony shoved a present in my face. I raised an eyebrow, frowning. "Hate to ruin this perfect moment, but I think Loki should go next." He stated. I rolled my eyes. "Anthony." I stated. He rolled his eyes. "No Loki, it's alright. You can open your present now." Steve told me. Inhaling deeply, I looked down at the gift Anthony placed on my lap. He was smiling brightly, waiting for me to open it. I ran my nail along the side of the gift until it opened. Then, I ripped through the rest of the wrapping until I could see what it was. "Anthony, you didn't." I stated, stopping half way when I saw what it was. "What is it?" Bruce asked. I held up the leather bound journal that my loving husband gave to me. "Anthony thought that I should write down things throughout the pregnancy, just like little notes and things to the kids. I saw this journal but I never got around to buying it." I explained before kissing Anthony's cheek. "Thank you, darling." "You think that's good enough, you should see the first page." I opened the book and to find the first page was full. Anthony had written a letter to the two of them. I trailed my fingertips along the page, smiling. "I'm taking that as you love it." I nodded. "I do. I really do. Thank you so much." He smiled, wrapping me in a hug. "No problem, sweetie. Now, who's next?" Natasha grabbed a present and started opening. This kept going on for a couple hours until we were done unwrapping presents. After that, we continued talking and soon ate dinner. After the "party" died down and Bucky left, Anthony and I climbed into bed together. We stared into each other's eyes, just transfixed by them. Anthony snaked his hands down to around my waist and removed his gaze from my eyes to stare at my stomach. I smiled warmly. "I bet there's one girl and one boy. What do you think?" I rolled my eyes. "I don't care about the gender of our kids, as long as they're healthy." I told him. Anthony looked back up, a faint smile on his lips. "You know we need to start coming up with names, right?" I let out a long sigh. "I'm aware." Anthony nodded. "I was thinking Jessica for a girl." He stated. "Really?" I asked, raising an eyebrow. He raised one back. "Do you not like it?" He asked. I shook my head. "It's not that I don't like it, it's just I was thinking Colleen." I told him. He smiled. "Colleen Stark has a nice ring to it." He tested out. I smiled. "I like it." "Colleen Olivia Stark sounds when better." I stated. Anthony nodded, kissing my nose. "But we still need another girl's name just in case." I nodded. "Jessica April?" I suggested. He nodded. "Colleen Olivia and Jessica April Stark. Beautiful." "Now for the boys. . ." I started, frowning. "I've always thought Michael was an excellent boy's name." Anthony stated. I nodded slightly. "Michael, Michael, Michael." I muttered to myself. "Michael. . . Vincent? Michael Vincent Stark?" "What about Anthony?" My husband asked, a sly smirk painting his features. I shot him a look. "Michael Anthony Stark? Really, your first name?" I asked. He shrugged. "What? It has a nice ring to it." He defended. "Michael Anthony, Michael Vincent. Michael Anthony, Michael Vincent. Michael Anthony, Michael Vincent." I debated. "He could always just be Michael Anthony Vincent Stark." I stated. Anthony scrunched his nose. "That's long, don't you think?" I shrugged. "Let's just figure it out when the little stinker is born." I nodded, draping my arm around his shoulders. "Alright. What about the other name?" I hummed in thought for a little bit. "Nicholas? Nicholas Austin Stark?" "Hmm. . . That's not too bad." He stated. "But Let's just hope we have a girl." I chuckled before Anthony kissed me. "Goodnight, Loki." "Goodnight, Anthony."
