Chapter Six

"Eat first!"

Seokjin widened his eyes at his daughter for speaking too much while eating.

He's sitting across of Sora while Jimin is next to her. The little girl keeps on talking about the man who talks to her Mama awhile ago.

"His name's Jungkook, princess." Jimin said.

Seokjin just rolled his eyes at his friend taking a sip of his hot coffee.

"Nice name." The little girl shrugs.

She already finished her rice and now she's eating her strawberry shortcake. Seokjin doesnt want to give her that since it's too sweet but Jimin took the little girl's side, of course.

"What do you say about Jungkook, princess?" Jimin said caressing the little girl's hair.

Sora licked the spoon and pouted her lips after tilting her head to the right as she hummed as if thinking thorughly, goodness! she's becoming a little Jimin, very dramatic.

"He seems nice and he looks.. what do you call it again?" She blinked her eyes while looking at her Uncle Jimin, "Ow! Hot yes, he looks hot."

Jimin laughed his eyes turning into crescent. It's really cute but Jin is having none of it as he throw a tissue straight on Jimin's  face.

"If he looks good, sweetheart. You call him handsome not hot, understand?" Seokjin asked leaning closer to his daughter.

The little girl eagerly nods her head at her father who looks like he's seconds away from scolding Jimin.

"I told you to be careful with your words, Chim." Seokjin sighed.

Seokjin was about to say another sentece for the younger but was cut off,

"Where's Uncle Yoonie?" Sora asked.

She already finished her cake and her orange juice. Of course she needs someone she can play with now that she already got her energy back.

"In the office, princess. Go there." Jimin said kissing Sora's forehead.

Sora waved at her mother who gave her a slow nod encouraging her to go already.

"So what's with you and Jungkook?"

Seokjin furrowed his brows at the younger scrunching up his nose at the sudden question.

Jimin should know by now that Seokjin is not interested with Jungkook. They could be friends but that's all.

Seokjin shrugs his shoulders, "Nothing."

Jimin scoffed crossing his arms. He raked his fingers through his hair moving his chair a little bit forward.

"Stop being bitter about it, hyung. Damn!" Jimin chuckled.

Seokjin shot him a death glare rolling his eyes at the younger. He leans back looking at Jimin with an annoyed look on his face.

"Im not bitter, Chim. If I am," Seokjin knocked at the table, "Why is there Taehyung and Sora?"

"Because you're bitter..."

Seokjin screwed his eyes shut taking in a deep breathe. He badly wants to snap at the younger but he cant, not when they're in a public place.

Yes, Seokjin wont regret being in a relationship with Jungkook even if they were still young back then, all of it was genuine and pure love.

Love. Maybe that's the reason as to why Seokjin doesnt even want to talk about his relationship with Jungkook, the same reason why he doesnt even want to see the younger.

"Know what, hyung? Im actually surprised that he's still the one doing all the chasing now eve-"

"He's not chasing me, Park Jimin." Seokjin said in a stern voice.

Jimin put his hands up in the air in mock defense while grinning at the older.

It fascinates him how even after all what happened, Jungkook has still the same effect to Seokjin. Too bad, they didnt end up together.

"He asked you to wait for him. What did you do? Cry and make yourself miserable not believing him and boom you end up with Taehyung because he comforted you." Jimin rolled his eyes at the thought of Taehyung and Seokjin together, "Really thought that those things only happens in the movie."

Seokjin bit the insides of his cheeks feeling a bit offended by the younger's words but he knows that all of that is somehow true.

"He left me-"

Jimin immediately cuts him off, "Yes, to study abroad."

"Chim! He's my first boyfriend and we're so young back then. I dont know anything so I let my emotions took over me broke up with him and all." Seokjin defended himself.

Now that Seokjin this about, the reason of their break-up is really shallow and it is also because of how immature he is.

Jungkook cried to him when he told him that he'a going to study abroad and stay there for atleast five years.

Of course, Seokjin didnt take it all too well. He questioned Jungkook as to why he needs to leave but in the end, he understands. He understands with Jungkook assuring him that it's for their future.

Jungkook loves Seokjin.

Seokjin did nothing but to doubt it.

Their sweet late night conversations turns into arguments and petty fights. They will talk only for Seokjin to ask about what did Jungkook do an will snapped at him if he heard something he didnt like.

Seokjin is too nervous, too dense and too young.

He sees Jungkook as someone who has it all: Handsome, smart, kind and rich.

All of that was the reason of Seokjin's sleepless nights thinking about how he got Jungkook and how he is nothing compared to the man that he loves.

He loves Jungkook genuinely but he became toxic for the same reason, love. He didnt know that love has limits, young love at that.

A year of being away from each other became too hard, they sacrificed their four years of being together and broke up for their peace of mind.

Seokjin knows that it was love but,

"We're young at that time, Chim. It's not love." He says,

Jimin looks at him, humor no longer visible in his eyes as if he knows that the older is lying.

"You're too young at that time, you didnt know it was love." Jimin said.

If it's not obvious, Jimin is not really a fan of Seokjin and Taehyung's relationship. Yes, they were sweet but that's that. He's trying to find something in Taehyung that he didnt see.

But he doesnt hate Taehyung that much, they wouldnt have Sora if its not because of him.

Jimin is just aware that his friend deserves better. Taehyung leaving Seokjin with their unborn child is enough for him to know that Taehyung is not deserving of his friend's love.

I saw that The Truth Untold is #1 in Jinkook and Boy Meets Evil is in #2. Is that even true? Is that legit? Like why? Why is my work at in number one in Jinkook? Thank youuuu.
