I watched as a third person as Rex took control of my body. Rex is my brother's wolf. Before coming to the capital, we had a witch exchange our wolf spirits through an ancient spell. Basically it's impossible to exchange wolf spirit but since we were twins and we were connected by blood and soul, it was possible. To be honest, it's a lost spell. I don't know how my father was able to get his hands on it. But it made our job easier. The witch agreed to help us in exchange for the spell.

Rex is a fierce wolf. He just can't stand me being bullied just like my brother. He's also very protective of me. While those two werewolves were bullying me, it was hard to contain him. At the end he broke through and took control.

I watched as Rex put him on a choke hold. I could feel the dominating aura emitting from my own body.

"He told you not to touch him " Rex spoke through gritted teeth. I saw his partner trying to sneak away but Rex caught him and pinned him on the wall with the other free hand.

"We're... S..sorry...." one of them choked out. I'm sure my eyes looked a dangerous yellow color that always happens whenever Rex takes over.

Rex, please let them go. You're gonna kill them. I pleaded.

Don't even bother. I'll kill them. How dare they lay their hands on you? He was still fuming.

They'll die if you don't let them go. How do I explain this to the Alpha? I'm already on bad terms with him. I don't want to make it worse. I tried to reason with him.

Then I'll just kill him too! He said arrogantly. I face-palmed. Why is he so dumb when my brother is so clever?

I heard that. His voice boomed in my head.

You can't fight the whole pack, you know. I gave him a sheepish smile.

He let go of the two werewolves. They scrambled away once released. People had gathered around due to the commotion. I could see fear and admiration in their eyes. He had an overwhelming power, only inferior to the Alpha. What did they expect? Just because my body looked weak, did they expect my wolf to be weak too? After seeing everyone's reaction, I was suddenly so proud of my brother.

It's all my effort you know. Not your brother's. Rex scowled as we walked away.

You are a part of my brother.

That made him shut up.

Back in my room, I checked on my injury. It was a minor cut. I was thankful that it wasn't so serious.

Recalling the past events, I flopped down on my bed. The moment I hit the soft bed, someone barged in. I jolted awake and got on my feet to face the intruder. It was the Alpha.

He looked mad but the moment he saw me his expression changed. Was that concern? But it vanished just as quickly as it appeared and he looked mad. Madder than before.

"What happened to your face?" he must have noticed my injury. He looked as if he was ready to kill someone.

"I slipped and collided with the wall" I lied without blinking. Hoped he'd buy it.

He didn't look convinced but reached out to me. I flinched at the contact. He noticed that I was afraid of him.

He sighed, "relax panda, I'm not gonna eat you"

I let him move me to my bed where I was settled down. He looked around the room and brought a first aid kit to me. Then he started cleaning my wound. It didn't hurt a lot so I let him treat me. When he was focused on my wound, I checked out his features. He had blonde hair that looked almost white. He had a sharp straight nose and thin lips. His body was lean and well built. I was enchanted by his green orbs when he looked up at me.... His gaze was fixed at me. I don't know what magic he was doing but I just couldn't look away. When I realized that I was staring at him, I looked away uncomfortably. I was looking anywhere but him.

We stayed there in an awkward silence for what felt like eternity. He was the first to break the silence. "Take care of your wound" he said as he got up and walked out of the room.

I sighed in relief when he was completely out of my room. What was that?

It seems you're attracted to him. Rex's voice echoed in my head.

Attracted to him... Attracted to him.. trated to him.. ted to him... to him...him...

Am I really attracted to him? But I wasn't looking anywhere but his eyes. I'm just attracted to his eyes, not his body.

His eyes are a part of him.

Why did that sound so familiar to me?

Whether you're attracted to him or not you must maintain your distance with him. He's a bad news for us.

Yeah I know. Would you just stop lecturing and let me have a rest?

He rolled his eyes and shut up.

Finally! Some peace.

The sun was setting on the horizon when I woke up. I walked out of my room and headed straight out. Unconsciously, I made my way to the training field. No one was there. I smiled at the empty ground. Happy to have some privacy, I walked to the ground. But my face fell when I saw two sweaty werewolves running on the ground. They were the same werewolves who'd bullied me. My face controted, in rage upon recalling the memory.

They looked very tired however, none of them seemed to be going to stop anytime sooner. Upon seeing their hard work I smiled in admiration. "They sure are hardworking"

"They're not hardworking" a person came to stand beside me as he watched the two of them. "They're being punished for offending the Alpha and I'm here to keep watch on them" he smirked.

"Oh!" was all I could say. Didn't expect things to be that way...

"I'm Delta Dylan" he smiled. "You must be Beta Nathan Forest"

I nodded. Wait! If he's the Delta then why was he watching over them? Was he getting punished too?

I tilted my head in confusion. He laughed, "actually it's my punishment for speaking the wrong word in the wrong moment. So, he wants me to watch them run till the next morning"

I felt bad for all three of them. The Alpha sure is cruel. Dylan must have seen my sympathetic look because he said, "don't worry about us. This is nothing compared to his usual punishments."

"By the way, the Alpha wants to see you. He just mind linked me"

I nodded and headed back to the mansion. I knocked on his office door. A voice from inside commanded me to enter. I creaked the door open and closed it behind me. "You wanted to see me, Alpha?"

"I need to know. Do you remember me now?" he asked, his face completely expressionless.

I shook my head, "not yet!"

He nodded..and got up from his seat. "Since you can't recall your mistake, you'll be my personal slave till you remember" he announced as my eyes went wide with shock. Was he trying to make my life miserable?

Despite feeling awful, I smiled sweetly at him. "Of course, Alpha"
