It should have ended with the bed, with his lips devouring mine until exhaustion claimed us. But I wasn’t done—not yet. I wanted more. I wanted to see how far I could push him. So when he tried to catch his breath, I slipped away, wrapping the silk sheet loosely around me as I padded toward the open balcony doors. The night air kissed my skin, cool against the heat still burning inside me. “What are you doing?” His voice was low, dangerous, still heavy with lust.
