I woke up in the night feeling relax than I ever felt I saw Damien hovering over me and I could feel his intense gaze on me and then he leaned him close and I thought he was going to kiss me I closed my eyes shut pretending that I was sleeping but he didn't instead he pulled back and I secretly admired him , he was very hot in this angle and I couldn't help but stare at him without him knowing of course , but then I and to my right senses he killed my friends and I haven't heard him said he felt remorseful , I scratched my eyes pretending to just wake up and immediately Damien saw me open my eyes he tossed a dress at my face and briefly said " it already nightfall time to go we are going to a ball so wear this " he then went out the door closing it behind him , I quickly wore the dress and as I looked at myself in the oversized mirror I looked stunning then I walked down the stairs holding the dress carefully to prevent me from falling and I came down the stairs I could feel everyone eyes on me then at the last step Damien came closer and signalled me to wrap my hand around his and I did then Raven said " what exactly are we going to do in the ball , to feed or what exactly are we looking for in the ball " everyone including me looked at him with the same question in our eyes but we dare not ask it directly we made our way to the car and Damien opened the door gently and said " you coming with me , okay " I noded my head I meant what else can I do than to follow his order in the car I tried asking him about himself but that d**k compelled me to shut up I couldn't talk although I had alot to say my mouth was closed shut everywhere was so boring I felt like I was in a car with my parents then he turned to me and said " you can now talk now tell me about yourself

" Damien looked at me his expression unreadable and then he turned back and continued driving I was more than bored at this point so I decided to sleep but as I wanted to close my eyes Damien stopped in front of a beautiful mansion then in a cold tone he said " come out " I came down and his eyes lingered on me before he gestured me to wrap his hand and I did and as we entered the mansion I couldn't help but drool the house was bigger than Damien and Asher house combined I stared around and everything felt like it was straight out of a movie then Asher , Raven and Luna arrived and as I looked at them before I looked back Damien was gone I wasn't really surprised I sat on the bar part of the mansion , a inner bar how rich , I was so annoyed at what I was I was going through now I couldn't help but ask for a whole bottle of their oldest scorch the bar tender looked at me with shock but gave me the scorch and I drink like my life depended on it then Asher came to snap me out of my misery he invited me to dance and I was hesitant at first but finally agreed and he led me to the dance floor and I danced my heart out then the music shifted to a slow one and Asher pulled me close and wrapped his hands around my waist and I couldn't help but smile my heart raced very fast and it felt like it was going to burst out the dance lasted a while and for that little while I forgot all my troubles and felt seen then the song changed back and I awkwardly let go of Asher and as I stumbled back i slipped and fell but before I could the ground I was caught by no other than Damien he coldly said " Let's go I have got what I want here " and as I looked at his hands I could see blood although he had wiped it off there was still few on his hands Asher , Raven and Luna rounded up and went outside with Damien but as I reached outside the mansion and was about to enter Damien car a girl who looked really familiar and some of her friends came out and said " oh , hey see what the wind blew in isn't this Aurora starlight , how do you get here , I know you can't afford a ticket to here maybe you stole it of course you stole you blood sucking b***h " then I recognised her she was one of the mean girls that used to bully me Sophie Devereux before I could talk one of her friends said " of course she stole it or she is playing these hot guys for money , what a gold digger I felt my blood boil as they threw nasty comments at ne but I couldn't say anything like I was compelled except this time I wasn't I looked down as they kept looking down on me but then Raven came to my rescue and said" you guys are pathetic and I am sure she is way better than you all you guys are big lovers so stop bullying her to fell better because you are not " I looked at Raven stunned , I never knew she would support me and it felt really good to have someone support me , Sophie and her friends left and I turned to thank Raven but she didn't respond and just entered Asher car and they drove off and then I entered Damien car he looked colder than usual and I couldn't stop myself from asking " what happened ? , did you find whatever you are looking for ? , are you alright ? " but he didn't answer me instead he drove quietly he handed me a phone and said " your old phone was crap so I threw it away , here is a new one and don't even think about calling friends or family " he turned to me , his gaze cold as ever I felt shivers run through my spine and then I open the phone after strolling through it I saw news of my dead friends and no one even knew I was missing I felt tears welled up in my eyes as I saw my dead friends with better life than mine decaying in the woods I finally had enough I shouted tears streaming down my face " why did you leave me ? , alive why did you not kill me ? " he looked at me his gaze fixed on my throat like he wanted to rip it out then he said " I didn't kill you because you look vulnerable , I didn't kill you because you looked innocent , I didn't kill you because you looked selfless or maybe I didn't kill you because I was lonely , maybe I didn't kill you because I missed being a human or maybe I didn't kill you because you I has some big ulterior motive " I never actually pictured him as a guy that would miss his humanity and at that moment I knew he could be redeemed then he started driving like a miniac I screamed my lungs out telling him to stop but he didn't listen I felt my heart beating fast , was this the day I die , he then pressed the brakes as we reach the mansion making me hit my head , I howled in pain but Damien didn't care he left me in the car what a d**k , I walked out the car still holding my head which was now hurting I dragged myself to the mansion and straightly to my room I layed down on the gigantic bed and stared at the neat ceiling then I begin to drift into sleep but then I heard a knock on the door , I was too tired to stand up so I continued sleeping but then Damien walked in I wasn't fully asleep so I heard the door open and I knew it would be Damien I sat on the bed and said " what are you doing here , it is late in the night can you just let me sleep , please " Damien noded and said " I am just hear to tell you sorry I shouldn't have loose my mind on you like that and leaving you I'm the car was inappropriate " he then turned to leave but I called him back and said " Good night and thanks for the phone , my old phone was already falling apart either way " he noded then left I closed my eyes and slept but in the middle of the night I woke up not being able to sleep I strolled down the stairs and saw the mansion door slightly opened I walked out and I saw Asher staring at the sky I joined him , he smiled and said " can't sleep ? " I noded my head and stared at the star , it was so peaceful but as I looked back at Asher he was staring at me , I looked at him and asked " why are you looking at me like that ? , it is really creepy , you know , do I have something on my face or something like that ? " asher shook his head and looked back at the sky smiling mysteriously he then said " the night is always beautiful except the full moon , you know when I um change into a wolf " I smiled as Asher talked and we begin to talk asher was caring , thoughtful and a good listener who listened to all my stories and he even gave me some useful advice

he was a good friend and I talked to him freely he made me feel like someone special, someone important,someone seen , he focused on everything I say like he was going to have an exam about me the next day and he was aiming to pass with flying colors , he made me feel comfortable and I couldn't help but laugh at everything he said but I could get him glancing at me but I try to ignore it distracting myself with his silly jokes and impressions then I asked " did you know why Damien is acting like the way he act now ,did you know him when he was human ? " Asher replied " no , why did you ask ? " I shook my head and continued to talk to Asher and I begin to feel sleepy and went back to my room.
