I woke up and strolled downstairs I felt weird because on a normal day I would be rushing for school at this time , I followed the aroma from whatever Asher was cooking in the kitchen the food smelled too good then after a while he served it on the dining table and I ate like my life depended on it after eating I washed my plate and headed back to my room then Damien called me back and said " we are going back to the woods we met to my mansion there is something I really need to take there " I noded and continue to make my way up the stairs but then he called me back again and said " now ! " why did he want to go now what a crazy phyco path I had no option than to follow him as he entered his car and drove off I bearly had the chance to do anything before Damien dragged me into the car , as we drove and drove I couldn't help but ask " hey , how many years are you ? " he smiled gently and replied " I am about 500 years old , ifelt my voice cut through my throat as I heard that , he had lived about 5 centuries , I didn't actually pictured him as that of a old guy but now I know how old he was but then I couldn't stop myself from laughing and he felt annoyed at first but then joined me soon we arrived at the mansion in the middle of nowhere we both entered and Damien went up the stairs living me in the oversized living room I looked at the golden chandler but I wasn't that breath taken by the room anymore , I had seen bigger few hours later Damien returned and said " Let's go my work here is done " I looked at Damien and out of curiosity asked " what are you even looking for ? , none of us get what you are looking for we just do it without asking questions because we are afraid but not anymore , not that I am terrified of you , I am but I need to know what is it that we are looking for , please tell me , I can't stay in the dark forever " Damien then replied " you all will know when the time is right , when it is the right time I will tell all of my friends and You but for now I can't " I felt kind of angry as he separated me from his friends I barged into the car and didn't say a word Damien chuckled then asked " are you still mad ? , what did I even did that made you angry ? " I shook my head and looked out the window and I saw a old woman trying to sell her flowers , I told Damien to stop the car and then bought all the woman flowers even giving her a huge tip " she was so happy she danced around and even prayed for me although I bought all the flowers all I took was just a single rose , I took it back to the car and told Damien to continue driving and he did and I slept off in his car I woke up to see myself in my room in Asher mansion and Damien was looking at my face he used his hand to push away a string of hair from my face and I couldn't help but smile I was trying my best to stay away from him but it was too hard because I don't know why I felt attracted to him then I looked at him well he was shirtless and his abs were looking so strong and hot at this point I Couldn't help but drool then he said " enjoying the show ? " I was snapped back to reality and hit my head no , no , no , I can't feel attracted to the person that killed my friends I sat on the bed and Damien said " didn't know you would stand up so soon it was like you loved the show " I asked
him still a little flustered " why in the world were you shirtless ? " Damien smiled and replied " maybe to see your reaction and now that I see it I would say that you were checking me out " I bursted out laughing loudly Damien looked at me then he joined in on the laughter I catch my breath as I said " you are old enough to be my great grandfather and you think I am checking you out , why in the world would I do that ? I mean you too think " Damien leaned in his face just a few metre away from me and said " age is just a number , it never matters , okay and I didn't think it matter when you are with Asher " I was a little taken back by what he said then he continued " saw you guys in the night " I saw his face drop back to his normal cold self then left was he jealous or he was angry his prisoner is happy with someone else other than him I layed back on my bed and wanted to sleep , sleeping is the only time I feel free because when I sleep I imagine myself in a much better world , in a much better condition and sleep help pass away time it help loose some free time and always keep me sane but as I closed my eyes to sleep raven walked in and said " you don't have to sleep every single time , have a little bit of fun , be alive for once , okay " I noded my head me myself wanted to get out of my egg for once and Raven took me to a club and then dragged me to dance it was a little frustrating at first but soon it became free , I forgot all my troubles and just focused on having fun , it was very fun and entertaining and Raven and I walked back home Raven was drunk but since I didn't drink any alcohol I wasn't I dragged her home as she complains about her home I thought her life was perfect hut her life has it own flaws as we entered the mansion we faced angry Asher and Damien , they both asked their voice as cold as ice " where did you guys go ? , we have been worried sick about you guys , tell someone before you guys leave the house , okay sk we wouldn't worry about you guys " drunk Raven said " we should tell you when we are leaving so you guys can tie us on a leash like a dog or you guys may even follow us and we are not babies anymore so stop treating us like one " Damien looked at Raven and with the way he looked her words sting but then he pointed at me and said " but she is a teenager so stop carrying her arrowed like a jobless person " Raven then said " yes you are right she is a teenager and teenagers are not supposed to be stuck in a house like a prisoner and what is her job she is literally jobless so don't blame her okay " Damien rolled his eyes and left so did Asher I layed Raven on the sofa and then went to my room but Damien was sitting on my bed when I entered my room he said " stop playing with Raven " I just couldn't help but talk back " why do you have a problem with me spending time with your ex or is there something you would like to analyse because I am confused " Damien didn't reply me and just left , I felt finally free like a feather , I hoped Damien would leave me be then few minutes later Asher came in and before he could say anything I talked " I am not a baby I am just a girl stuck in the middle of the world that isn't mine , that's all " Asher shook his head in disappointment and left and I felt really guilty because he was always a good friend was It really being that bad playing with Raven then I called Damien he appeared in half of a minute and I asked " why did you say I should not play with Raven , please tell me so I can steer clear of her and whatever danger she cause so please I really need you to understand me and tell me why I can't befriend Raven Damien sat me down on my bed and replied " Ravenna is a bad influence first you guys are having fun but soon it will get deeper you would be causing troubles in the society and it is not that easy to get yourself out of it when you're buried deep either way just warning you , not that I Don't want you to have fun I do but not at the perks of your goodness , I just want the best for you " he then left and I went to bed in this new found knowledge.
