Golden goal

CHAPTER THREE

All the contestant started feeling scared to participate in the game , none of them is ready to die early , as there all stepping back to be pick among there team to take the aim shot.

The yellow team which consist of Daniel , Sarah a seventeen years old , the other three are in there thirties. Daniel give the team morale and tell them to calm down ,that nothing is going to happen to them . Sarah explain to the teammates that she will represent the team in the aim shot, one of the men in his early thirty shouted at her and said " who are you to said you are going to represent the team. Sarah replied him and said "I did not mean to disrespect the team am sorry I did not talk out you guys before I speak"she finish speaking and bow down her head . Daniel tell the team to calm down that since Sarah has volunteer herself ,they should allow her to represent the team in the first round .

"Are you in your right senses " said the man in his early thirty . " don't talk to your teammates like that because you are older them " said a man in his late thirty in there team , he continue and explain to them that is only understanding and unity that can make them to still be in part of the game . A man in his forty in there team explain things to them that they should all talk it out between themselves and pick someone who is going to represent there team in the first round. The man in his early thirties still insist he is going to represent the team in the first round due to his greediness for the prize ,he thought he is going to gain extra bonus if he participate in the first round. The rest of the team agrees to allow him to represent them . In Abu team all his teammates are scared to volunteer themselves to represent the team in the first round , there also five people in Abu team also, but they are all males , Abu is the youngest among his team, the rest of them are old enough to be his father or elder brother.

The reality game did not have age limit anyone who is above ten years can participate and even a man In his seventies can also participate. Daniel , Abu and Sarah are the only youngest contestants in the game , all the remaining contestants are much older than them , all of the contestants have there reason why they chose to part in the game, they only thought the game is just a normal football tournament which they can only perform and win a prize , but they all got surprise when they got to know the game is a deadly game that come with a price which is there life , the reason why the organizers chose to create this game is still unknown to them , the thought continue to run through there head while they are still confuse and don't know how they are going to escape from this situation they got there self into .

The yellow team which is the team Daniel and Sarah belong to allow the man in his early thirties to represent there team. The blue team which is the team Abu belong decide among themselves to make Abu there leader and pressure him to represent there team in the game, because they are all scared to participate in the game , one of Abu teammates even threatened him that if he did not chose to represent the team they are going to strangle him to death , Abu did not have choice but to do what he is ordered to do .

After an hour that the team are given to provide each person there team , one of the guard wearing black suit came to the pitch with a ball in his hand , he placed the ball 25 cm to the stationary circle and bring out a whistle from his pocket and blow it then shouted "I did not have much to say since you already know the rules of the game ,all you have to do to hit bullseye once or hit the stationary circle three times and you are free to move to the next round so who is going to take the first shot " he said that by looking at the all contestant faces , none of them have the confidence to take the first shot , the guard still continue looking at them waiting for someone to come out ,the guard raise his hand up to signal one of the sniper to shoot a bullet to a contestants arm immediately, he want to signal the sniper to take shot , when a contestant who is a man from the green team come out and said he will take the first shot for his team , the guard laugh mysterious and said to him that's nice and tell him to step forward to come shoot the ball to the stationary circle . The contestant from the green team move closer to the ball and aim for the bullseye, immediately he raise his right foot to take the shoot the ball to the animation stationary circle ,the stationary circle started moving and appearing in different angle of the goal post , this got the all the contestants surprise including the man that want to take the kick , another chattering started again among the contestant , every where got noisy again and loud murmuring take over the pitch, Daniel and Abu got dumbfounded as the two of them open there mouth and don't know what to say , one the contestants shouted and said "what is all this you said is just a stationary circle why is it now moving , how did you expect us to hit a moving circle that is moving faster than our thought" ,The voice from the speaker echo again and said to them in a low tone "To make the game interesting! hahaha " He started laughing mysteriously then stop talking to them , immediately he stop talking to them a timer appear on the circle from ten seconds and started decreasing to nine that means if the contestants did not shoot the circle before the timer end they are going to be shot by bullet but not to the heart. when the timer appear all the contestant keep quiet because they already know what it means , the first contestant that is going to shoot ball at the circle quickly shoot the ball before the timer runs out but the ball failed to hit the target and of the snipers shoot a bullet to his left foot . all the contestants shouted at the same time and started feeling scared by what just happened. the green team teammates that got shot by the bullet fell down mercilessly on the ground the blood started gushing out from his left thigh where the bullet hit him, he started feeling serious pains in his leg , his teammates want to quickly run to help him but was order to stop by one of the guard wearing black , that if they step foot on the pitch that they will be shot immediately to death , this make his teammates feel threatened and they all obey the guard and step back . the contestant that got shot look at the eyes of teammates helplessly and feel in his mind that he just got betrayed by his comrade. Daniel felt guilt in his heart because the contestants cant do nothing about the situation they fall in. the contestant that got shot stand up helplessly and try to reach hands to the ground to gain balance , before he could get up from the ground a bullet from the sniper gun shoot him on his arm again and he started losing plenty bloods , the contestant want to protest again but the guard let them know that the second chance timer has end that's why the sniper shoot him , all the contestant started panicking and Daniel ask Sarah to get closer and hold her on her shoulder ,Sarah got surprise because she did not expect this from Daniel , Daniel told her she shouldn't take it otherwise that the reason he turn her is that she didn't want her to look at something bloody, Sarah remove his hands from her shoulder and said she is okay with it but started weeping because she felt pity for the contestant that was shot . The contestant that was shot lie unconsciously on the pitch with plenty blood gushing out of his right arm and left thigh the scene was so bloody that all the pitch was covered with red blood , after the third timer goes off one of the guard bring out a sword and move closer to the green team teammates that was lying down on the ground and stab him on his chest and take his life , Most of the contestants started shivering , the man that want to represent the yellow move back and want to avoid being called , but Sarah tell him not to worry and face Daniel and let him know she is going to represent the team , Daniel tell her that she should not worry and step back that he is going to carry cross for the team but before he could finish talking Sarah has left him and go to the pitch , Daniel want to move to get her back but the one his teammates hold him back and tell him that she will be fine , Daniel step back and started wishing Sarah good in his mind.

Sarah pick up the ball and place it on the spot , then aim for the moving circle and shoot the ball to the circle.
