Kara stirred in her sleep until she slowly opened her eyes to see Damien by her side.
‘What are you doing here?’ She asked him as she still laid on the bed.
‘What kind of a question is that? I carried you back here when you fainted.’ Damien responded, not feeling offended at her lack of appreciation.
‘I understand that, but don’t you have better things to do than watch over me?’ Kara asked.
‘What happened to you back there?’ Damien asked, quickly changing the subject. Kara opened her mouth to complain about how he changed the subject but then she decided to just let him be.
‘I was talking with someone.’ Kara said, humouring him.
‘You looked strange and who were you talking to?’ Damien probed.
‘I believe the fairy Queen.’ Kara answered with a frown on her face as she pulled hers
