While the vampire leader took his time reading my mind, I pulled my eyes from him and looked around the room we were in .It had oak furniture; black walls and a very big window. I found this room quite peculiar , it seemed so secure like there was something precious in this room. I immediately got up and walked over to the walls, I placed my hands on the wall trying to feel something , I closed my eyes trying to focus on the wall . It was truly a pity that I wasn't a psychic but in the spur of the moment I remembered my mothers words. '' On the darkest of days , when it seems difficult to find the light , take a deep breath , never surrender yourself to the dark , face it head on and surely you will find the light !'' her words stuck to me until now.

I was close to figuring it out '' curiosity is a good thing but coming here and doing that seems a bit disrespectful ,don't you think ?'' I looked at the vampire leader '' I've been called a lot of things and disrespectful was never one of them!'' My full attention was on the vampire leader '' am I here to be studied or are we going to discuss your son's behavior?!'' '' I admit he was wrong but-" '' no buts ,we made a deal and he broke it and now we take over and set the rules, I don't expect much -all I want is for your son to get off his high horse and apologize so we can move on from this! ''

The vampire leader looked taken aback with my answer'' I never expected you to say this ! '' I smiled ''I don't want to cause war because I've been taught better then that!'' ''I understand , my son will be here in a few minutes!'' I nodded and looked back at the wall '' there's something behind this wall ... maybe a*****e room or a holding cell ?!'' '' Close but not close enough ,its a dungeon -where we used to turn humans into vampires! '' '' something tells me you still do it ! '' '' my brother does, every weekend he throws these parties and about 3 human girls get picked and its unfortunate that some of them don't make it out alive ! '' '' The bite kills them , if that's the case -how many make it out alive?''

''Uh ! '' I raised my eyebrow '' you got to be kidding me , they have to at least make it out ! '' his silence just proved that the chances of that happening was very low. I thought about it for a second ,if his brother could lure the humans in , it would be difficult for them to escape. I needed to help them at any cost!

There was a knock on the door and the scumbag of that vampire entered. '' Father you called me ?'' ''yes I need you to apologize to Juliana ! '' I walked over to the window and looked outside'' I'll give you two a minute ! '' I heard the door close and the scumbag spoke '' so is the part where we have a round 2 of what happened the other day!'' I smirked and turned around '' I see you all healed up , you might want to hold a little longer on your healed body this time around! '' he looked around and I walked past him until he spoke up'' you very well know how despised you are by everyone , you of all people should watch where you place your foot - vampire or not , I let you off the hook with what actually happened and lets keep it that way , you might be useful to me in the future! ''

I turned around and looked at him , he walked closer to me -towering over me might I add. '' You in no position to make statements, just face it Princeton - I'm your insurance policy!'' I shook my head and looked directly in his eyes ''I'm not what you make me out to be and of course I know you don't care but let me advise you - one species may give up on a member of theirs but me , no relation or anything , I'll still fight for that person! '' I placed my hand on his shoulder and I knew I was burning him '' remember my words before its too late! '' his fangs slowly extended.
