CHAPTER 4 -JULIANA'S POV

After waking up in the middle of the morning, it took some time for me to fall asleep. It was around 10 am and I was getting dressed in this white high waisted shorts paired with this red Maggie strappy wrap crop top , I put on some red converse shoes. I paired this outfit with this silver plated chain long leaf strip pendent and I had on my sterling silver earrings. I left my hair loose and I applied some mascara, eyeliner and a little lip gloss . I grabbed my phone and dashed out of my bedroom . I spent the rest of the morning in the house reading and helping where ever I could.

It came to 2 pm, I left the house, shifted in my wolf form and ran out of the pack. While running through the trees I could smell this scent -it was rain mixed with pepper. That only meant one thing and that would be that the scent belonged to my mate. Now let me just inform you that I've never met my mate before so uh I'm pretty anxious and that's not good because Juliana Sparrow is never anxious .
[ ANTONIO'S POV ]
I was running through the woods mainly because I needed to be somewhere and let's just say that I liked to be prepared ,so I was going to see if these shapeshifters were talking the truth. I'm sure you confused -I'm Antonio Devera , the Alpha of the Devera pack , which is the second biggest pack in the land, number 1 is the Silver Pack. I could've asked Leo and Aries to check out the shapeshifters but they busy with their mates. Leo is my lead warrior and Aries is my beta -their mates names are Alice and Elizabeth ,the lost and found daughters of Matt. Matt is the beta of Jeremiah Sparrow -the Alpha of the Silver pack. I was so busy pondering about the pack that I was totally oblivious to this scent that infiltrated my nostrils .

It smelled like French rose and almond ,the scent was so pure and beautiful. I was running faster to try and get to this scent , until I knocked into something. I looked properly and I noticed it was this pure white wolf , the she-wolf was on the floor due to the impact of us colliding into each other . The she-wolf stood up and shook off the dirt, she then looked at me and growled. I was so engrossed by her that nothing mattered anymore, it was not just her scent that was very different but she also had this other scent. I knew for a fact that she wasn't just a werewolf, after she growled at me she shifted and so did I.

I looked at her , she was so beautiful -she had fair skin and this long Mahogany Burgundy dark red hair and these angelic emerald green eyes. She has this fit slender body , I could feel the amount of power emanating from her-she then looked at me .
