The night after his interview with Brad Poland, DI Reid arranged for the police helicopter to conduct a thermal imaging reconnaissance flight over the building housing the Zeitz vehicle garage.
While the helicopter was thudding around the Northfield industrial park in the dark, DI Reid led a raid on the home of Glen and Rory Trimmer, in a quiet suburban street three blocks from their mother’s house. There was nobody home but the house was not empty.
