DI Reid and DS Strong watched the security camera recording of the man dressed in black delivering the package to Ron Zeitz’s house.
‘What do we know about the delivery van?’ asked DI Reid.
‘Reported stolen yesterday. Looks like our man only drove it a few blocks before abandoning it. Forensics are giving it the once over. We should have their report in the morning,’ said DS Strong.
‘That suggests he might not be acting alone. There could have been someone waiting to pick him up. Anyone see him when he ditched the van?’
‘It was found in a shopping centre car park,’ said DS Strong.
‘Any security cameras?’
‘No. It’s one of those small local centres.’
