Chapter 6

Frances went inside to open the gate of Queen Frans’s Kindergarten with Sherlock, holding his arms tightly. Frances dropped her hands and ran forward to play with the other children, and as he did so, she saw the lovely children on the playground in front of them. The toys they were playing with caused many kids to laugh so hard while having fun copying one another. Sherlock observed Frances closely and considered herself fortunate to have such a cute kid that is when she remembered that Frances would be graduating soon. That implies that he will be available for adoption soon. “Whoa!” She called out in fear. “What fates await them both? Who is going to adopt him?” “Is there any way she could ask her boss, Mrs. Helena if she can adopt him? “ Well, it dawned on her that she wouldn't be better off trying to make ends meet than adopting a child. Does she have the money to send him to high school? “Oh no! This is not possible. Next week is the 2021 graduation set party, and Frances will be leaving.” She hurried to her office to find out the graduation's precise day, which was Monday. “Monday? That is early!” Finally, the heat of being a mother is expiring. What could she do? She knew she could do nothing but non-objectively go ahead to meet Teresa for help. As she arrived at Teresa's office, she discovered that she was not there. ” Where could she be? Let me check the classroom or maybe, Mrs. Helena's office because she is so fond of her. She might be there.”, she inquired. Sherlock wondered how Terresa could relate to people so easily because Mrs. Helene, the owner of Queen Frans’s Kindergarten, is a strict and disciplined woman, the mother of three gorgeous children, who are in China with their father. She is away from her family to manage her kindergarten as she believes that no one can manage it better than her. “Oh Sherlock, you are here,” Teresa caught her thoughts while looking at some cartons of wonderful toys she was holding, planning to keep inside Mrs Helena's office. How do you get that? Sherlock exclaimed, pointing her finger at the fallen toys. “Ohh, De’Harrison Toys Inc. company is around and they are outside. They are here to donate some toys for our kids.” “Whoa, what a surprise! I'd like to see what's going on outdoors.”, she said, astonished, forgetting why she had come seeking for her. Teresa said, "Oh, wait for me, let me drop this, can you please give me a hand?", as she caught herself getting tense to drop the toys. “What about our security and cleaners, they are the ones meant to be doing these.” Sherlock raised her neck to look at Teresa's adorable hair as she caught her smoothing it at her back. "Yeah, they are transporting others to the store rooms. I came to transport some here for preservation as instructed by Mrs. Helena." “Oh, now I get it,” she made a quick sigh of understanding to Teresa. Both of them made their way outside the kindergarten building, walking past the kids and having fun in the playground. When they arrived outside, they saw Mrs. Helena talking to some gentlemen. Sherlock noticed a familiar flash across her face as she saw a well-groomed blonde gentleman holding his pen firmly on his palm, focusing his eyes on the documents he was signing, and his eyes instantly caught Sherlock's, evoking a look of surprise. “Ohh Miss!” Garrett gave a deep, rumbling voice that caught her attention. Sherlock came forward to confirm if he was the man he bugged at the Pizzeria. She left Teresa wandering as she captured Harrison staring at her with a stern expression. “Do you know her?”, Mrs. Helena asked Garrett. “No, he didn't,” Sherlock answered for him right away to break the short silence. Garrett, still looking at her with a long face, wondered why she lied and denied him of not meeting before. “Oh, is she still angry about the incident earlier?", he thought in his mind. Mr. Gerret returned a pleasant shake to Mrs. Helena as she handed him a flier which Sherlock didn't catch what the flier was for on time. She asked Teresa as she saw Teresa still arranging the boxes on the floor. “Teresa, did you notice that Mrs. Helena gave that gentleman a flier I think?” “Flier of what? Oh oh, it should be for our upcoming graduation party for 2021 sets.” “Oh okay! That reminded me, I wanted to ask if Mrs. Helene can release Frances to me, the only orphan of class 3.”, she said hypnotically helping Teresa put the box into order. “Oh don’t dare, she will abuse you c’mon. You know how she is so tough with children not being in the presence of guardians who are fully responsible for their upkeep.” Teresa blinks her lashes and cleans the dirt coming to her eyes from the fusty boxes. “Yes yes! I know it will be so wrong doing so but I don't want Frances to leave me.” Sherlock said as she watched Teresa blinking her lashes continuously. “But I don't understand why you are so concerned about this boy, Frances” Sherlock signed, subjecting a quick smile on her face to allow Teresa to blow out on her toward her weird behavior. “Hah, I didn't even tell you about my new godson.* You….you have a godson? “Like Frances is your godson?”, she repeatedly watched her. “Yaar!” Teresa went forward to Sherlock poking her ribcage “It is game over. Tell me when you gained his child's birth certificate, you joking being.” “I mean it, Teresa.” “But seriously how did it happen?” She narrated to Teresa how she incidentally became the mother of Frances and alerted her that there was a problem to solve because Frances would be graduating by next Monday. Teresa reminded her there was nothing to do, and that she should just pray for the best for Frances. Sherlock bent her eyes low and searched for more words from Teresa as she watched her bending down to push the boxes on the ground. “I know Teresa, and my best wish for Frances now is that he will end up in a great and responsible home that will show him the love he deserves.” They both shouted Amen as they went to carry each box in their arms, putting all their energy and carrying them carefully.
