CHAPTER FOUR
“Did just hear wrong?” Abigail looked in disbelief.
They were rudely chased out of the house by Jordan through their mental link.
“You all get out!” His voice sounded in their minds which so much authority.
“What's going on inside??” She asked while struggling to catch a word but there wasn't any sound.
“Thanks for the compliment. You are also handsome” Rose quickly covered her mouth but she had already said it.
Her cheeks were became pink which Jordan found cute.
“How long have you moved here?” He asked looking around the cabin.
“More than a month, how are you close to them. Are you their boss?” Rose asked him because they hasn't mentioned anything about him.
“Why did you move here?” He faced her.
“I'm their boss, we are like an organization, they work for me to protect and fight against any enemy.” He replied her.
“Oh, i decided to have a change of environment” Rose answered feeling uncomfortable when he stared at her.
“Are you uncomfortable around me?” Jordan asked.
He didn't want her to feel scared of him.
He could tell she was feeling uncomfortable with his questions but he wanted to know more about her.
He suspected something was wrong because she couldn't keep eye contact with him and she was also fidgeting.
“Calm down Jordan, she is our mate. Take it slow” Snow reminded him.
For other people it was their wolf which was aggressive but Jordan Snow both he and his wolf were very aggressive and ruthless.
He held immense amount of power that many wonder if he was the first descendants of the werewolves.
“I'm sorry if I offended you” He calmly held her hands.
Rose felt nervous when he asked about her but when he held her hands, she forgot everything and felt secure.
“It's fine. Maybe one day, when I get back the pieces of my life, I'll tell you my story” She smiled at him.
“I'll wait patiently for that day” He nodded his head.
“Oh, where are my roommates” Rose looked around and found them alone.
“You didn't notice, they went out to get something. Is that how much I captive your attention that you didn't notice when they left?” He asked with a smirk.
“No!” She denied and removed her hand from his.
Jordan felt his heart empty when she got up to create a distance between them.
“Don't!” He quickly dragged her back to him as she crashed against his strong chest with force.
“Don't run away from me” He said looking agitated.
Years without mate, his life was cold and lonely. He had only his wolf as his best companion so he shaped himself to be the best. But the moon goddess blessed him with one, he would never let her out of his sight.
Rose felt her heart thundering with their close proximity. His scent hit her strong making her feel dizzy, his strong arms around her made her feel safe and forget about everything.
“Oh no” A voice jolted them out of their thoughts as Rose hurriedly moved away from his grip and turned to the direction of the sound.
Abigail and Hannah looked surprised because they didn't expect the door to open, they tried peeping and listening but when they saw how their Alpha treated his mate, they couldn't hide their surprise.
“We are sorry” They apologized feeling his deadly gaze.
“It's fine, I was just asking of you, I'll be back” She sprinted away feeling embarrassed with the position they met her.
“We are sorry Alpha” They immediately apologized when Rose was out of site.
“Don't be angry” Mark came forward and used his body to shield his mate.
He knew how furious their Alpha could get and his didn't want his mate hurt, he would rather collect the blame.
“Don't ever try it again” He warned.
Mark was his beta and close advisor. They had been together since they were pups, after his wolf, he also considered him as his friend.
“Yes Alpha” They all bowed.
“Why are you all calling him Alpha and bowing to him” Rose asked as she came out of her room.
They all turned to her.
“It's nothing, this is just the way we show respect to him” Hannah quickly said.
“Ohkay, I was just wondering” She turned
and saw Jordan staring at her and heard him say
“I'll be staying here for some weeks”.
