Chapter five

Everyone looked at him in surprise.

“Ehm, I decided to take a break, hope you don't mind?” Jordan asked looking at her.

Rose mouth suddenly felt dry. She mentally screamed in her mind.

“If he stay here, I'll have to see him everyday, oh no” She thought.

The s****l attraction he was giving was too much for her poor heart to handle but he staying here will definitely lead to something else.

“You are always welcome” Mark agreed with the rest of the nodding their head.

Jordan smiled in satisfaction, he would be able to stay close to his mate, he had to report the news to his parents so they can be in charge while his gone.

“I hope you don't mind Rose?” He noticed how quiet she became.

“It's fine. I'm just a stranger here so you don't have to worry” Rose felt pain in her heart when she thought of how lonely she was.

“You are not a stranger, we are all here for you, don't call yourself that” Jordan held her shoulder making her look into his eyes with held a look of sincerity.

“I'm not, I'm a f*****g stranger with a f****d up life” She bursted out.

“Excuse me” She turned and ran out of the cabin without looking at their faces.

“I f****d up” She said as she kept running into the woods.

“What happened to her?” Jordan clenched his fist in anger and implanted it in the wall which created a dent.

“I suspect she's running away or hiding something, I tried asking her but she immediately brush it off” Abigail explained.

She always noticed how lonely and dejected Rose looked which she didn't notice someone was looking at her.

“I'll go and find her” he rushed out and shifting into his majestic form immediately his feet touched the grass and dashed off following her scent.

“This is getting crazy” Hannah said sofly which they all agreed.

Their Alpha kept on displaying bizarre behavior.

“I hope rose is okay” Abigail said with worry.

Rose kept on walking, tracing her steps back to the first time she came here. She reached the stream and to her surprise she found Snow waiting for her.

Jordan had a feeling she would be here and he was right, She looked sad and his heart ached because he couldn't take care of his mate.

“Snow” Rose happily hugged him. Snow let out a satisfied howl while Jordan cursed him in his back. Because she always looked scared when he was in his human form.

“I'm so happy to see you” she pressed her face against it's fur.

Her eyes prickled with tears as she sniffed her nose.

“I'm sad Snow. I keep on messing up everytime” Rose laid on the ground with half of her body on Snow and the rest on the ground.

She looked at the clear sky, it was still morning and she was already feeling stressed.

They both stayed in silence before she said “All my life, I've been pushed away and called strange” She felt snow put his paws on her head, she had an idea he was trying to comfort her.

“But when I moved here” she continued, the breeze was calming and she felt safe.

“Everyone accepted me. Abigail, Hannah and Mark, Even Jordan who I just meet accepted me with my looks. It felt so strange, I have been so used to be stared and talked about all around”. Her tears dropped on Snow's fur.

“ You know, I had a happy life with a friend, fiancee and parents” An angry growl threatened to come out of his mouth but he didn't want to scare her.

Jordon was angry when he found out she had a fiancee, he would have to hunt him down and make him leave her.

“Just be calm Snow” he told his wolf.

“But guess what, he cheated on me with my friend, I lost my parents in an accident and got fired from my job” she let out a howl laugh.

Jordan pumped his fist up but immediately got angry when he thought of the pain she felt. He really felt like killing her fiancee now.

“That's when I snapped, took of my wig I had to wear everytime not to be called a freak and took all my savings, I came here feeling betrayed and lonely” She burst into tears.

Jordan quickly wrapped his big body round her to comfort her.

“You even understand how I feel, I'm thankful for Abigail, Mark, Hannah and even Jordan who accepted me but it feels like they would all their back to me” She finally calmed down.

“Well, this is my life. You are the first person I've told Snow so keep it for me” She softly said as she stood up and dusted herself.

“I have to head back and apologized” Rose turned to head back but stopped in her track when she saw a black wolf growling aggressively at her with it's golden eyes.

Snow immediately came to her front and covered her with his body also growling at the wolf. Rose saw five more appear all growling at them.

“Huuuuuuuuuuuuuu” Jordan howled to the sky breaking the morning silence.

“s**t, they are in trouble” Mark and the ladies immediately ran away of the house and shifted racing into the woods.

Jordan ferociously growled at the wolves, he knew they were neotide, he wondered how he didn't sniff them on time.

Calculating their moves, he had to keep Rose safe but Mark arrived. He saw one of the wolf spring forward and met it in the air and sinking his teeth in the wolf neck but before pushing Rose to a safe place.

Rose kept on watching the fight between Snow and six other wolves, it was bloody and Snow fought while making sure she was safe.

He kept on slashing and tearing his prey head, his white fur was soon covered with blood.

One of the neotide immediately dashed to Rose side when he was occupied fighting three off.

Rose knew this was the time she would die, sge closed her eyes waiting for the pain to come but felt nothing.

She opened his and saw three other wolves attaching it. The wolves were all brown with a touch of white. They were bigger than the black wolves but not as big as Snow.

Within two minutes all the black wolves were dead. The wolves immediately bowed to the Snow and rubbed their body against it like some kind of ritual.
