NOW WHY DIDN’T I THINK OF THAT? Diane left the next afternoon without realizing David had spent the night. Marissa had word that the security guard would be fine, eventually, but would no doubt be in the hospital for a couple of weeks. New plans were in force by the security company and she just did what she was told to do. There was no word about the investigation and she was not going to ask questions of anyone. She had work to do. A walk through each room in her new home gave her a comfort level of feeling settled. Everything was unpacked and put away. Diane had been a great help.
