27 Back on the Mend Congressman Fleetwood Marshall Hollingsworth was released from Harlem Hospital Center on the fourth day of his stay there. An hour later, a couple of male nurses helped him to stand as he addressed the waiting crowd that had assembled outside the hospital: It’s a great day. I’m a very fortunate man. As I look around and see all your beautiful faces, I’m reminded what it’s all about. It’s about ensuring the future of our nation. It’s about devising strategies to help peoples in other parts of the world to live together as we do in peace in America and toward common destinies of their own.
