Lyra, teeth clenched, snatched the bottle out of her hand before she uncapped it. “Kojo wants to talk to you.” The man in question loomed over her shoulder. Kojo didn’t acknowledge Lyra, who moved out of the way to return to sweeping up. He also didn’t sit, instead leaning against the bar and studying Toria. His show of bravado and dominance made Toria’s skin crawl, but she didn’t stand up.
