“Don't bother with the calculator,” said Colin. “Bill will be right. He always is.” He looked at Barbara and mouthed the words 'see what I mean?'
She grinned and nodded.
“How long are you planning to stay at Websters?” asked Bill.
“Well, I hope to stay there long term,” said Alan. “They seem to be a good company to work for and I hope to do well and work my way up the ladder, make something of myself.”
