Chapter Thirty One : A Visit
Veronica’s POV
I found it surprising that Bruno was consistently at home. It sounds like Bruno might have transitioned to working from home.
What's most distressing is his apparent disregard for my presence.Taking a courageous step, I decided to visit his room one day.
Entering his room flooded me with memories of our time together. However, Bruno wasn't present when I quietly slipped into his room. Being in the vast, empty room left me feeling and uncertain about what to do next. Despite knowing I shouldn't be here , an unexplained feeling compelled me to seek out a closer connection with him.
I noticed that the room remained largely unchanged from the last time I visited.
