The first destruction (500 million years ago)
The chronological periods of the Earth counted in megaeons and starting from the oldest were: Katarcheozoic, Archaeozoic, Proterozoic and Phanerozoic megaeon. During all those periods, the sporadic and occasional impacts of stellar bodies with Earth continued, regardless of the relentless bombardments that Earth had initially suffered during the period between 4.1 to 3.85 billion years ago, which were certainly beneficial to it since they enriched Earth with the titanic seeds containing useful chemical elements.
