The Shadow

After Fang ya calmed down, he smiled it is nothing, he don't know why he felt so comforted when Gao yu comforted him.

Your still a high schooler right, assistant Lou asked trying to stay far from the sensitive questions.

Yes, Fang ya nodded.

Will you mind working for us after school.

Hearing this Fang ya felt conflicted feelings, it is not as if he don't want to accept but what if he is not up to sky empires standard by then.

You still have time to think it over, you know is not as if you are graduating today.

Hearing this Fang ya nodded as the journey continued, I will be getting down here Fang ya said.

Is here enough or don't you want us to take you a bit more close, assistant Lao asked.

No here is really enough, Fang ya said as the car halted.

After Fang ya stepped out of the car, Gao yu stared at him for sometime before turning to look back into the car.

Ma Lin apartment, Gao yu said as if he was trying to commit the address to heart.

The journey continued with silence till they reached mingyan manor.

Inside mingyan manor, Gao yu without giving face to assistant Lao walked into his room before assistant Lao heard the door close with a bang.

I guess I might be thinking to much, assistant Lao said remembering this is the way Gao yu normally behaves when ever he visit.

Assistant Lao went down stairs, he has to tell the servants that they can come out now.

All the servants tried to lighten their steps, though they where surprise since they know Gao yu went out with his parents but came back with assistant Lao, they still maintained their silence as they went about their duties.

Inside the room Gao yu sat as he waited as if to confirm that assistant Lao has gone down stairs.

After confirming, something like black fog started seeping out of Gao yu's body, the black fog rolled out to coalesce into a young boy that seemed to be made exactly from black fog.

The boy seemed to be the exact replica of Gao yu though being made of black fog.

Immediately the black fog finished coalescing the temperature in the room immediately went down.

Gao yu who was sitting on the bed seem to be seeing the boy made of black fog but he did not react in any way, instead it seemed he has know the shadow for a long time.

This is not the first time Gao yu has seen this shadow, he has always felt the presence of shadows like this, at first he has been afraid of the shadows, but after sometime he has come to know the shadow means no harm.

Though none of the shadows has ever materialized like this before, he has always felt the shadows sometimes help him when ever he saw those scary things and after their visit to the shaman was the first time he saw one of the shadow came out this much.

At that time in the car, the shadow has yanked back the scary lady on a patient garb so Gao yu has confirmed that he has really been helping him.

The ghost did not only yanked back the lady on patient garb but also tore the lady into pieces before trying as much as possible to stop both Gao yu and his parents from dying from the accident.

The shadow has also given them enough time by stopping the car from catching fire on time, and even when the fire issue went out of the shadows control it has tried taking Gao yu out of the car, though Gao yu did not understand how he did that but all he knew is that the shadow is not bad.

Though Gao yu is still a kid he can still differentiate from people that want good for him and people that don't.

After the shadow finished coalescing another two shadow that are blurry coalesced.

The shadow was that of a middle age man and a woman.

The shadow smiled at Gao yu but the woman and the man seemed afraid.

It seemed that the shaman unsealed everything about the shadow making it to have both a thought of it's own.

Gao yu has noticed this two couples at first when Fang ya came to saved them, the couple has been there trying to keep Fang ya from getting hurt he remembered how the couple has safely landed Fang ya when the shockwave pushed him through the air.

Though Gao yu don't know why they seemed afraid he turned to the black shadow since he felt that they where on the same side.

the shadow looked at him before using it hands to give him the go to sleep sign.

Though Gao yu don't know why the shadow want him to to sleep but because of the connection he felt with the shadow it voiced sound like a lullaby slowly putting Gao yu to sleep, just as Gao yu was about to sleep he could see the couples face turning more awry as his eyelid finally shut.

After Gao yu went to sleep, the black fog seeped inside his body before forming something like the word darkness in Chinese on his forehead.

After the word formed it writted as if it was alive before sinking down his head.

Gao yu saw himself in a dream world and in that dream he was watching from the shadow's perspective, he saw his body lying lifeless, Gao yu turned but was surprise to find out he was in the room, he also saw that the blurry couple was still in the room, at first Gao yu thought he was procrastinating but then he heard a voice that seemed like his voice.

His body was no longer laying on the bed, he was now sitting.

Don't you know your staying with Fang ya will make him feel your presence thereby making him feel guilty Gao yu heard the voice that look exactly like his voice said.
