The accident

After getting out of the house Gao yu's parents can't help looking at his now serene and calm face.

They can't help thinking how Gao yu has been surviving all this while since they all have to share only half and it was already this bad.

Gao yu must have been passing through a lot of thing his parent thought while carrying Gao yu as they walked to where the car was packed.

After getting back to the car Gao yu's family started their journey back, but on their way Gao yu's mother remembered something.

What does the shaman really mean by protecting the portals, human being don't know when they die so there is no way they can ascertain whether they will leave to twenty four years more and beside won't the house and the sculpture be more protected if they make the house a museum and add security around it parameters.

Just as Gao yu's mother tried voicing out her thought something unexpected happened.

Both Gao yu's mum and dad noticed a lady on patient garb standing right in the middle of the road but just then it seemed as if the lady disappeared into the thin air.

Immediately after seeing the lady on patient garb Gao yu's mother felt a bad premonition, she was about thinking that maybe she overstressed herself and only seeing double when her husband spoke out.

I swear I saw a lady standing there before, Gao yu's father said before turning to look at Gao yu's mother in other to know if he was the only one that saw that.

It was not only Gao yu's mother that started having bad premonition but also his father.

Just then the lady on patient garb appeared again but this time she appeared facing them and was much closer than before.

They could see something like a deep gash on the lady's head, blood soaked the front of the patient garb as something like black fog coalesced closer to her, the lady was looking at them with shining eyes, the lady was looking at them as if they are the most treasured something she could get.

On seeing the look on the lady's face, Gao yu's father immediately remembered something.

Is this what he mean by protecting the portals, so when he talked about protecting the portal he was not only talking about natural occurrence but also things like this, Gao yu's father thought, he has been thinking the same thing his wife was thinking some moment ago.

After coming to this conclusion, Gao yu's father stepped hard on the pedal, he was quite ready to run over it whether it was a zombie or a ghost, even if it was a human, he was prepared to run over her and face the law, than to endanger his family.

Just as Gao yu's father increased speed, the lady on patient garb also charged towards them.

Due to the distance it wasn't long before they collided but the bang sound that was expected never came, it seems as if the car hit thin air.

Just as Gao yu's father was about to think that this might be an illusion, he saw a bloody eye staring right into his eye.

The lady on patient garb has at some point in time appeared inside the car.

Gao yu's father seeing the lady was already inside the car, tried to stop the car but then he found out that the lady on patient garb was already dragging the steering and trying to steer the car out of the road.

After the lady on patient garb appeared inside the car, Gao yu that has been sleeping ever since his illness acted up on the way to lu ba yu lakeside woke up.

His mother noticed him stare at the lady but this time there was no trace of fear in his eye, he seemed calm and his eye seems like deep abyss.

Is this what Gao yu has been seeing all this while or is this not, his mother can't help thinking.

Seeing how Gao yu was looking at the lady made his mother confused, if this was what Gao yu has been seeing all this while then she can't help thinking that her son has suffered quite much, but still if this was what he has been seeing all this while then why is he not crying.

Just then Gao yu's parents felt the lady on patient garb being forcefully yanked back to the back seat as her face contorted, she seemed to be afraid, Gao yu's mother confirmed based on her countenance.

After the ghost was yanked back from the steering, Gao yu's father tried regaining the control of the car but then he found out something, he can no longer control the car no matter what he do.

Just then the traffic light ahead turned red indicating them to stop, but since Gao yu's father could no longer control anything in the car, he could only watch as the car tried crossing, bang a bus collided into the car.

Gao yu's parents screamed as they saw the car rumble while rolling on the ground, they could feel some of their bones rupturing at the same time some breaking.

Surprisingly when the car was about to complete it last roll it stopped while still facing upward.

The car really smashed to an extent that the people near could not believe that someone will survive the accident.

The car glass was smashed, though it seemed the seat belt held Gao yu's father back to the driver seat, blood still tickle down his head as some of the glass shard stabbed into his body, Gao yu's mother was not looking any better either, she has tried to block the accident impact on Gao yu.

The people close did not try checking whether people survived but called for an ambulance, everyone of them could see that fuel was already dripping out of the car and that it won't be long before the car catches fire.
