I walk into my room, still in a daze. Breona takes one look at me and her mouth drops.
“Oh, close your mouth. It is not that serious.” I say.
“Well, judging by your look, the date was good,” Breona
says.
“Truthfully, Oni, I had an awesome time. I got to see a
different side of Allen. He was more open and willing to try new things. We
went to Carnival. He actually tried street food with me. Girl, he even danced
with me. I showed him how to do a little winding. All I can say is the Alpha
has moved.”
“Sounds like you had a good time, but I know good food and
dirty winding did not put that dazed look on your face. Now spell the good
stuff.”
“Well, Umm, I got my first kiss tonight. It was OMG. I
can’t even explain how it was. I never knew kissing could make you weak in the
knees.
