" Woah, Comer en secreto?!" I gasped in awe

" I haven't been here for 10 loooooong years". I smiled bitterly, remembering how happy we are during time when our family are still complete. I wasn't the only child but I rarely talked to my older sister and brother ever since......

oh, Mom, grandpa.. I missed you both ?

" Mr. Jorge, Ms. Trevor. Please follow me". I help my head up slowly, it was the old waitress. That same old lady who served us food 10 years ago.

She looked at me and I smiled to her at once.

I silently followed them from behind, I was the last one following but I feel like someone is following us closely.

I saw a silhoutte of a guy with a broad should in my peripheral vision. He is somewhat familiar but I can't remember who and when I've met this guy.

A few moments later, we've reached our table and there I saw three old men one of which is my Father while the two looks a bit familiar.

"Sandra, finally you've made it." the man in his 50s or 60s said happily to me.

"uhm, do I-"

"hey, pops! Of course we made it" Max said to the old man.

so, that's his father.

"Mr. Jorge, you can call me 'Sandee', thank you." I said to Max's father.

I turned to my father who was talking to the waiter to served the food.

" Dad what is this about?" I grabbed my father's arm and talk to him silently so they won't hear us.

" congratulations, baby girl. You are getting married today?"

"what?! no! I haven't agreed to anything." I shouted out and all has heard me.

what is this a shut gun wedding without a gun?

" Ms. Trevor, I am Mr. Trevor's and Mr. Jorge's lawyer Stanley Montero. I am here to help both you and Max to sign your Marriage contract. After this, I will process the transfer of Shares from MMJ corporation to Trevor's Group that way your Father's company can keep up and stand firmly.

keep up and stand firmly? what's going on? I knew this marriage was decided a long time ago but what the Lawyer is trying to imply is that Dad's company is bankrupt.

" but, I haven't decided and I am not marrying someone, I DO NOT LOVE!" I emphasized the word I do not love and I am furious of how things turned out.

" I need to go now, these are all nonsense". I was about to stand but Max has grab both my arms and said,

"Shhh, don't worry, Baby! Whether you like it or not, you're marrying me now!" He said.

I replied, " not in a million years, you vermin".

" Sandra Deena Miller Trevor!" I was startled in great surprise.

It's the dead end.

My father only calls my full name whenever he don't agree to my decisions and even if I strongly disagree with him he'll never give chances just like how my brother ended up- they cut connections but they never explain anything to me.

"Let me have a word with you." he continues

I didn't gave him ay reply

" Maxim, let me just have a word with this little girl." he looked at Mr. Jorge, Max's father.

"We'll be back in a bit gentlemen" he glanced at them and hurriedly took me away.

*Max*

After 15 minutes I saw them walking back.

"I agree to marry you...." Sandee said to me the moment they're back.

I never thought I'll get her to say yes in just 15 minutes. Now the real show is about to begin.
