“What the f*ck did you say to him?” Giovanni asked me.
“Chill Brother! I didn’t say anything irrational to her. I was just asking about her health,” I answered, but Giovanni’s red eyes were enough to tell me that he didn’t buy it.
“Brother! Do you think that I would say anything to hurt her?” I asked in a sad tone. I mean, she is my mate too, so why would I say something to hurt her?
“I am not saying that you did it on purpose, but after hearing your words, she panicked. Her blood pressure dropped, and she almost fainted.” I nodded after hearing his words.
“I didn’t say anything unusual. She just rolled her eyes, and I said she just earned a punishment…”
