Chapter 2: Party Night

(Sasha POV)

I looked at my reflection in the mirror and a smirk appeared on my face. I was dressed in a plum color floor-length design. It hugged me in all the right places and accentuated my tiny waist and hourglass figure. I know they will not be able to resist my charm today. The dress was made of such fine silk that I wanted to feel it under my fingertips again and again. It has a plunging neckline that highlights my c-cup breasts with a lace-up back. The dress looked fine with my fair complexion and with my light blue eyes. I drew winged liners to highlight them a bit. I tied my long blonde hair in a high bun to highlight my long slender neck. I didn’t want to overdo anything, so I just put my mother's necklace on my neck with diamond earrings. I painted my plump lips with cherry red lipstick.

“Perfect!” I gave a compliment to myself and looked at the heels that I had to wear with this dress. After thinking for a second, I quickly picked up a strappy heel and started wearing them.

“I am all ready, Sash! And here are our entry passes…” Lennix entered in my room with the entry passes in his hand but as soon as he looked toward me he stopped talking. I looked towards him and arched my brow but it seemed he was lost in his own la-la land. I waved my hand in front of him.

“Lennix! Are you here?” I asked in a bit loud voice and he shook his head to pull himself out of his imaginary world.

“Y-yeah! You are looking so beautiful that for a moment, I forgot to breathe,” he said, and I chuckled after hearing his flattering words.

“Good! I want to make Daniel’s son fall in love with me and I have to make sure he can’t resist my charm tonight,” I answered and stood up after wearing my heels but a strange type of emotion appeared in Lennix's eyes but they vanished as soon as they appeared or maybe, I just imagined it in my head, so I decide to ignore it because I have more important matter in my hand to attend to. I stretched my hand and he put the pass in my hand. I checked it and I have to admit that he did an amazing job like always.

“Wow! I can't even imagine the difference between the real and fake ones,” I said to him and he smiled and nodded. He was also looking good in his black tuxedo.

“You are looking so handsome tonight,” I praised him and a smile appeared on his face.

“I am floored by your words, Princess,” he said, and I gave him a wink.

“You are an impossible girl,” He said, and with this, both of us went out of the apartment. A black SUV was already present in front of our apartment.

“Wow! Did you arrange it for us?” I asked, even though I knew only he could do this for me.

“Of course, Sahs! We can’t go to that pack in a cab, so I have to take care of everything to make sure that our plan goes without any hiccups,” I nodded and thanked him while giving him a hug and walking towards the car. He opened the door for me and then in just a few minutes, we were on our way to the Midnight Canine Pack. My heartbeat raced and my hands turned clammy.

“Finally, the day came for which I had trained so hard. From today onwards, my life was going to take a turn that would not only change my own life but also the fate of the Midnight Canine Pack. I looked outside and all the scenes of that night started coming in front of my eyes like It happened yesterday.

“I heard that Daniel Fedorov has two sons instead of one but he used to keep him away from the public eye for a specific reason, but I am not sure about the reason. Maybe he has some kind of disability or maybe he is Fedorov’s card of Ace,” Lennix’s voice pulled me out of my thoughts.

“Let’s see! My instincts are telling me both of his sons will attend today’s event and if they attend it then I will try my luck with both of them,” I answered in a flat tone. Daniel Fedorov used to keep his life and family away from the media, so it was very difficult for anyone to know about them, but fortunately, we got all the information that was necessary for this plan.

“Are you ready?” Lennix asked when our car stopped in front of the mansion. I took a deep breath and nodded my head in yes.

“Let’s go then,” He answered and stepped out of the car. He helped me and now, they were standing in front of their gigantic mansion.

“Amazing! I am sure that they built this castle like a mansion with the blood of many innocents,” I whispered, and Lennix nodded before handing me a mask.

“It is a masquerade party,” I nodded before putting on my mask. I completely forgot about my mask when I stepped out of the car. I hooked my arm to his and with this both of us entered in the mansion. We showed the guards our passes and entered in the mansion. All the guests were dressed in elegant dresses and walking here and there with fake smiles plastered on their faces. I thanked the goddess that they had masks on their faces. Otherwise, their fake expressions will surely make me cringe.

“Welcome, My Lady! Where are you from?” One man asked while walking towards me and I looked towards Lennix.

“We are from the Black Hawk Pack,” Lennix answered instead of me and he nodded before walking away.

“Wow! That was close,” I said to Lennix in a whisper like voice.

“Don’t worry! I am here to save you from every difficult situation,” I looked at him after hearing his words, but he picked a glass of wine from the nearby bar and handed another one to me.

“Thank you so much,” I said, and he nodded his head.

“And, please welcome my beloved son, Nikolai Fedorov,” We heard Daniel Fedorov’s voice and my body stiffened. I looked at the person who was coming downstairs. His face was covered with a mask but I could see his penetrating brown eyes scanning the guests. He walked towards his father and started shaking hands with a few men standing around him.

“So, there is only one son of Daniel Fedorov,” Lennix shook his head after hearing my words.

“Daniel is a secretive man. He is very cunning and loves to keep some cards up his sleeves,” Lennix commented and I agreed with him on this.

"Let's go! I want to know him," I said and both of us walked towards them.

"Hello, Gentlemen! I am here to meet Alpha Daniel Fedorov," I said and he squinted his eyes while looking towards me.

"Well, Hello! But, I am sorry, I didn't recognize you, beautiful lady," he said, and I wanted to roll my eyes after hearing his honeyed words. For this day, I have completed my homework already.

"My name is Sasha Ivanov. I am from Black Hawk Pack and he is Lennix. My manager and also a good friend of mine. We came here to discuss the project of Crystal Heaven," I said, and Daniel Fedorov's eyes lit up with greed and excitement, but he did his best to hide this glint from others.

"Oh, I am so sorry, Lady! I couldn't recognize you. I am glad that you graced this party with your presence. We will discuss our business some other day, but tonight, please enjoy this party." He said and I nodded before walking towards the dance area with Lennix.

"Unbelievable! You did your best. You convinced them in just a few sentences. Now, I am more than sure that they will approach you to discuss the project. And, you can get entry into their mansion without any problem," I nodded and started dancing with Lennix.

"But, please be careful, Sash! Daniel is like an old greedy wolf. You have no idea how much he can stoop low to complete his mission." I nodded and smiled. Now, Daniel was discussing something with his son.

"Where is your ring, Sash?" Lennix asked in panic mode.

"In finer, i***t! I don't want a mate and for this, I have to wear this ring forever. I know everything, please don't take me for a fool. And, Please don't forget to thank your Aunt for making this magical ring for me," I said to him and he nodded and we kept dancing with happy smiles etched on our faces.

"You should take my suggestion and change your name, Sash! It could be the biggest hurdle in this whole plan," He voiced his concern and I shook my head slightly.

"It wasn't necessary! Firstly, Daniel will not remember a little girl from his past and will not take her seriously at all. Secondly, His lust will make him blind. Besides, He couldn't imagine all this, even in his worst nightmares, right?" I asked and he nodded, but I could feel the tension in his body.

"I hope everything goes as you planned," I nodded when, after a few seconds, someone approached us.

"Can I have the honor to dance with this beautiful lady?" Nikolai Fedorov said and stretched his hand towards me. I looked towards Lennix and he gave him a curt nod before moving to another female. Nikolai thanked him before holding my hand.

"I didn't even imagine that the business owner of the Crystal Heaven would be this young," Nikolai praised me and my lips tugged upward.

"Thank you so much for your kind words, Mr. Fedorov! I also didn't imagine that Mr. Daniel would have such a handsome son," I answered and he chucked after hearing my words.

"You really know your way with your words, Ms. Sasha! Beauty with brains...Lethal combination. But a tempting one." I didn't answer his words. He has no idea how lethal this friendship will be for him and his family.
