I stopped my car in front of Courtney’s apartment and started waiting for Ana. Courtney said she wanted to talk to me but not in front of her, so I decided to treat her to her favorite ice cream and spend some time with her. I completely forgot about her after Brandy’s incident. I honked the horn two or three times before checking my mobile.
“Coming, coming!!!” Her soothing voice made me smile.
“How are you, Ana?” I asked her before opening the passenger’s seat door for her.
“Thank you so much,” she said before looking for the seatbelt.
“And yes, I am good. Aunt Tiny is so good. She helped me with my homework and played with me with my dolls,” She informed me enthusiastically.
