Chris raised his glass high, his voice smooth, carrying just the right amount of arrogance to make my skin crawl.
"I raise my glass to tonight’s star—April. Virea Design will begin working on the project next week, and I’m looking forward to what we can create together. From now on, the winning project has been decided, which means you’ll all be merging into one team."
