“I’ve been looking everywhere for you,” I snapped, storming toward the corner where he sat, calm and infuriating as ever. I’d searched the entire building, but the library hadn’t even crossed my mind.
Silas was lounging in a chair by the window, legs stretched out, completely absorbed in the book he held. The sunlight streaming through the glass cast golden highlights in his dark hair, making him look effortlessly perfect.
Of course, he was still the most annoying person I knew, but that didn’t make him any less infuriatingly handsome.
