Stay away from Brian or else, I will make your life like a living hell or you'll die.
I knew it, this is Adele. What do you really want?
I opened my computer.
*One email received.
From: Anonymous.
Die, die, die, AVERY LIM! DIE!!!
*Phone ringing / Brian calling.
"Avery, what are you doing?"
"I'm just lying in bed. Why?"
I don't want to tell him about these messages and emails.
"Nothing, good night."
"Oh, okay. Good night, then."
*End of call.

"Avery, wake up!"
(knocking on my door)
"D-dad, what's happening?"
"Look outside your window."
I stood up and looked outside. "Is that man in black? A security guard?!"
"That's what I wanted to ask you. Why do we have security guards outside of our house?"
Doorbell ringing.
"I guess it's Brian's." I told dad.
"Avery, I already asked you about this. From the very first day that he picked you up here for school. What's happening?"
"Dad, he told me that he just wanted me to be safe."
"Keep safe? Why are you in trouble?"
"No, dad. He's just overprotective."
"I'm just concerned, if anything happens to you, I don't know what to do with him."
"I know dad, love you, I need to get ready now, Brian will be here any moment."
"Okay, love you, too."

At school,
"Hey, Brian, I am totally fine, you can get the guards out of the house."
"Avery, you don't know what Adele can do, just trust me."
"Okay, but, please, take care of Lia too, she even threatened her."
"James got that, he knows what to do."
"Why does it seem that you really know Adele, on what she will do?"
"Adele was a possessive woman, she can do everything when she loses her sanity."
*Bell rings.

I was in the locker room to fix my stuff.
*One message received
From: Lia
"Avery, I just need to go to Miss Lu, I need to pass some reports, just call me whenever she's there or call Brian."
"Yeah, go on, don't worry, I will not do anything clumsy."
While fixing my stuff, I heard some footsteps.
"Lia, is that you?" Then I looked around but I couldn't see anything. The lights went on and off, I grabbed my phone and dialled Brian, but my phone was snatched by….
"ADELE?!" I screamed.
"Hi, Avery. Who do you expect?" She's staring at me like she wanted to kill me.
"What do you really want?"
"I want you to die." Then she dragged me from my locker and pushed me in one of the restroom cubicles.
"I heard that you have Cleithrophobia. I hope Brian will help you as soon as possible." Then she laughed maniacally, threw my phone at me and I heard that she locked the restroom door.
I immediately went out of the cubicle and tried to open the door but nothing happened. I also tried calling Brian, Lia and James but my phone is out of service.
I screamed as loud as I could. "Brian! Lia! James! Help me!"
I started to feel dizzy and I am hyperventilating.
I keep on knocking the door to make loud noises so that anyone could hear and I can feel that my body aches.
"Oh, no. No!!! Let me get out of here! Mom, Dad!!!!!" I started crying and I remember when I was in grade 6.
*Flashback.
"Avery Lim, you don't suit here, your dad already left you with your mom, imbecile."
"No, it's not that, they already talked about--"
Then she pushed me to the janitor's stock room.
"Blah-blah, whatever your father still left you and he doesn't love you."
"That's not true!!! You're just making stories, why are you so mean?!"
"Whatever. Lock her in that room, girls."
"No, please, no!!!! My mom will be worried about me, no, please!!"
*End of flashback.
"No, please help me!! Lia, Brian, James!!!"
I need to concentrate.
"Avery, breath in, breath out." (Heavy breathings)
"Let me go!!! I don't want to be here! Just let me go!!!!"
I hear someone whispering in my ears.
I want you to die, die Avery Lim! Die! Die! Die!!!!
"No!!!!!"
Die, Avery Lim! Die!!! HA-HA-HA! Laughing maniacally.
I can hear footsteps and knocking on the door.
"Avery! Avery, are you here?"
"B-brian, help me, I can't breathe." I whispered, then, I heard his footsteps approaching me and I lost consciousness.

In the tree house.
"We need to protect her, Adele is losing her sanity again." James.
"Brian, we need to do something." Lia
"I think I need to let--" Brian
I opened my eyes and saw Brian sitting beside me.
"B-brian, what happened? What do you need to do? I said, Brian just looked at me.
"Hey! Please, tell me what is going on?" I am already freaking out, I even tried to get out of bed.
"Ave, calm down." Lia holds me.
"It's nothing, Avery." James said.
"We're just thinking what do we need to do with Adele, this is just the beginning, I know she will do more to hurt you physically and mentally." Brian said.
"I am sorry, Avery." Then he kissed me on my forehead and walked away.
"Brian, where are you going?" I said.
James followed Brian and Lia hugged me.
"Everything seems to be fine, bupt Adele ruins it." I cried.
"Shh, everything will be okay, let's just trust them."

The next day, I am still not feeling well because of what happened, I'm just lying in my bed.
"Ave, are you not going to school?"
"I'm not feeling well, dad."
"Okay, that's odd, anyway, Brian is down stairs."
"Thanks, dad. I will be there in a minute."
I went downstairs and saw Brian.
"Are you going to school?"
I smiled at him, "I think I need to take some rest."
"Okay, I am sorry about what happened. I will do everything I can to make things go normal again." Then he hugged me.
"Thank you." I looked at the clock and said "Hey, you might be late to school."
"Yeah, I gotta go, I'll call you later or call me."
"Okay."
Hours passed.
*Phone ringing / Lia video call
"Hey, Lia. I am about to call Brian, what are you doing?"
"He's just staring, like he doesn't see anything, there he is." Then, Lia showed me where Brian was.
"W-wait, is that Adele?!"
"Yes, it is Adele. She's in our class, most of the time she messes with Brian, but you know Brian, he ignored her."
"This girl is up to something, I guess, this is really just the beginning."
"I know right, even James sent a security guard to the house and you know mom, she's freaking out, oh, bye for now, Mister Tim is here."
"Oh, okay. Bye."
*Video call ended.
After the video call with Lia, I texted Brian.
To: Brian
Hey. How's school? I saw Adele was in our class. I hope you're okay.
*One message received / Unknown number
Hey, Avery, you're not at school today, are you still having nightmares from what happened to you when you were in grade 6? I told you, this is just the beginning, you will experience even more, take care.
I was trying to calm down, but my body started to tremble. I know, it was a long time ago, but the memories of me being trapped in the school restroom, again, makes me feel really anxious and I can't breathe.
I know Adele will do something to keep me away from Brian, forever.
