Three days. Three days. That was the time we had before Hart made his move.
For three days, we were piecing together Alina’s evidence, preparing for what felt like an inevitable battle. Alina struggled to sleep, on edge and anxious, always looking over her shoulder as if Hart might suddenly appear.
