Violet nibbled on some toast and tried to make sense of what had happened. She had stuck to the script. It had been an award-winning performance, she thought, but was still not good enough. "She said she had heard things," Violet said, thinking aloud. "Do you think she knows about the attack on the full moon? About the transformation?" She shrugged and kept eating. They were both so freaked out that she should not have been surprised that the other three found them. They did not sit at the same table as them but hung back, watching.
