I don’t know what was more shocking.
Was it being welcomed to be a new member of a pack who severely punished me or being told by the Alpha that I was an ancient wolf?
It was so unbelievable.
My tongue felt heavy, useless in my mouth. I remained standing before Alpha Nolan, staring straight at me as he was only a few inches from me. My fingers curled and uncurled beside me, like I didn’t know what to do with them.
