Chapter 37“What are you doing?” I asked, my brow wrinkled as I jerked my neck away from him.
For a brief moment, I forgot I was in the company of a stranger. I was having such a terrible time heaving my stomach out earlier that I never even considered that I was alone in my room with a stranger, and that while I am here, I lack the strength to resist him if he did something bad to me because my body is deteriorating.
“Stay still, Anna. I am wiping your sweat from your neck,” he stated with such a frigid tone that I almost tensed in my seat.
Right now, he sounded pissed off. I am not sure why he is furious, but he should not be upset because he entered my personal space without requesting permission.
I was embarrassed to tell him, “I can do it myself. Take your hand off my body.”
