ROSE When I’d gone to sleep I was freezing from the inside, but I woke up experiencing the glorious warmth that almost made me forget about everything else. For a moment, I forgot about last night and instead burrowed deeper into the cocoon of my blanket, and that was when I realized I was not alone. Once again I was in his arms. The only difference was this time he was wearing his clothes. And, regardless of what it meant, that maybe he had come back to check up on me, the memory of the phone call came rushing back to me and made me shiver.
