LEGEND OF THE VIPER(COMPLETE)

CHAPTER 13

Fighting her beast was one hardest thing she had ever done. Just like her, her beast was hard headed and strong. It took her a very long time to finally understand what she had to do to win. When she heard Gina talking she found the strength to leave the cave only to see Amber's spirit which meant that she was dying. Losing Amber was something she wouldn't want to experience again so she thought what she must do as she crawled back to the house.

All this time she took as being the Viper as something that just came to her but what she realized now was that she was the Viper and this was her destiny, she might deny it but this was her fate and destiny. She simply embraced all of her, the good and bad parts. That is who she is and nothing was going to change. The moment she embraced herself, she felt the beast being subdued and knew she had won and she could go out and have Amber. When she arrived Amber was cold but she was there crying. She didn't want her to know that she could see her now in human form but did what she was supposed to do. She cut her wrist to let the blood out. The venom used on Amber was the kind she makes herself and she had an idea why this was happening. She had seen it from her visions. Amber made a deal with the Goddess. Amber loved her to the point of doing crazy things to be with her.

'By giving you my blood, I make you mine. We shall never be apart whether in life or in death,' she said as she let her blood drip into Amber's mouth.

She watched as Amber's spirit returned to her body and she knew it was done.

She looked around and saw everyone looking at her.

'I need to wash up,' she said.

Mary ran to the bathroom and began to fill it up.

'When will she wake up?'

'Soon, make sure she eats something as soon as she does.'

'Are you not going to sit by her side?'

'I wish I could but I need to gather my energy back, she said taking off he clothes and climbed in the tub.

It felt so good feeling the hot water on her body again.

The lead priestess walked in and gave a bow.

'Welcome back.'

'It's good to be back but should I punish you?'

'I'm sorry but I have no choice.'

'I know, once she puts her mind on something she will never turn back. If she had died, I would have killed you,' Haven said.

'I know but I would have still taken that path.'

'You didn't really tell her the last part did you?'

'No, I didn't. I was afraid she would not like the idea.'

'Of course she wouldn't. She has a bad memory with daggers.'

'Indeed but the Goddess had taken a liking into her. She sent her that dagger, it's a rare one.'

'I know. Let's talk later and make sure she is okay. I will soak myself here for the time being and don't let anyone else come in. I need to be alone,' she said.

'I will obey your command,' the lead priestess said and left her bathroom.

Thanks to her last battle she had accumulated so much dark energy she was about to go crazy. She now has the ability to do things with just her thoughts. Whatever was happening to her was too much.

She thought of the crazy things Amber had been doing ever since she went into seclusion. She was so sweet and was waiting to see just what more lay ahead of her. At the moment she was just going to close her eyes and soak herself for a very long time.

Amber woke up only to find Haven not in the room.

'Where is she?' she asked.

'She is in the bathroom.'

'How long have she been in there?'

'About four hours now.'

'Okay.'

Amber was so eager to see Haven but she had to bring something first. So Amber rushed out of the bedroom and out of the mansion towards her car. She opened her car and took out the box she had been moving around with and returned back to the bedroom.

'Can you please leave us?' she asked and Gina smiled at her.

'We will be outside if you need us,' she said.

'Okay.'

She watched as everyone exited the bedroom. It was just her and Haven whom she haven't seen yet. Amber took off her clothes and walked to the huge bathroom naked. She went inside and the tub was empty. Where did she disappear to again? She was busy looking around when she suddenly got pulled into the tub. It was very mysterious since no one was touching her. It was as if someone was using tricks on her. When she got into the tub she felt her hands on her. She smiled and put her head into the water and saw Haven lying on the tub floor with her eyes closed. She reached her and kissed her slowly before pulling her out.

Haven didn't seem like she was breathing and yet she was alive and well.

'Haven!'

Haven opened her eyes and looked at her deeply.

'You are awake.'

'Yes. I...'

'Don't say anything, just let me look at you,' Haven said still looking at her.

Haven had never looked at her like that before. She was shy; she could feel her body on fire. Her body was ticklish as if someone was caressing it. She looked at Haven who smiled at her and she knew Haven came back with tricks.

'Can we leave the bathroom and go to bed?'

'Why are you so eager to go there?' Haven asked her.

'I want to make love with you,' Amber confessed.

'Aren't you scared that I might do something to you?' Haven asked.

'I am only afraid of losing you. I don't care who or what you are. I just want you to be with me forever,' Amber said reaching out her hand for Haven's face.

Haven placed her hand over hers and held it on her face for a while.

'I don't want to lose you too Amber. I'm very sorry for everything I made you go through,' Haven said with tears in her eyes.

'It's okay. I understand everything. You never meant to hurt me and it wasn't your fault. Let's just forget about everything and have a fresh new start.'

'If you say so my lady then I will take you to the bed and make love to you,' Haven said cupping her cheeks with her other hand.

Amber smiled and leaned in closer to kiss Haven on the lips.

From there Amber didn't remember how they both got out of the tub and ended up on the bed. Everything just happened in a flash.

'I love the new you,' Amber praised Haven.

'I love it too but it comes with a huge price,' Haven said and looked at her body.

The tattoos were what Haven meant. They looked scary and protective at the same time.

'How do you get them? Did you have your people draw them?'

'No, I didn't. They just ended up being there.'

'Are they painful or what?'

'Not anymore but I can manage. I have you by my side,' Haven said kissing her on her shoulder.

'You are not going to stop mid way like you always do right?' she asked out of curiosity.

Haven always stopped in the middle all the time though she recently learnt why she did that.

'I will go all the way and never stop,' she said kissing her other shoulder blade.

'Good because if you stop tonight I will stab you with your own dagger.'

Haven looked at her with so much amazement.

'My kind of my woman,' she said and reached for her mouth.

Amber welcomed Haven happily. She had missed this so much, she was going crazy. She hooked her arms around Haven's neck and pulled her down so that they could kiss deeply and passionately.

Haven hands were everywhere and somehow it felt as if not only tow hands were touching her but many and she loved it. Haven removed the hands that were around her neck and began to kiss her downwards. Haven's lips were on her neck, the hollow between her neck and shoulders, her breasts; as she sucked them slowly and attentively. She couldn't help it but moan out loudly as Haven continuously gave attention to her buds.

This was more like it, she was finally going to have what she had been wanting for so long and she was going to take as much as she could before she separate with Haven.

'Why are you smiling?' Haven asked Amber.

'I love you,' she replied and she flicked her forehead.

'Why are you doing that?'

'Don't you get tired of saying that?'

'I don't. I missed you so much that I wanted to die.'

'I know and don't do that ever again.'

'I won't.'

'Good then. So what is it that you wanted to tell me the whole time?'

Haven already knew what Amber had to say but she was dragging the whole thing out for long. Haven subdued her beast in the morning and Amber came back to life in the afternoon. Ever since the second Amber stepped into her bathroom they never left and it was already midnight.

'Cant we eat first?'

'No, tell me first and you will have your food,' Haven said.

'Okay but don't say no,' Amber said seriously.

Haven grinned and kissed Amber's nose.

'I will never say no to you baby.'

Haven watched as Amber crawled out of the bed naked and went to her drawer where she took out a small box. What was in store for her in that box?

Amber came back to the bed and she climbed on top of her.

'What's this? Are you trying to seduce me back to bed after being intimate for so many hours?'

'We have so much to catch up on,' she replied.

'So what is in that box?'

'Oh!' she exclaimed and opened it.

Haven felt the power of the gems and knew it was time.

'Haven, will you marry me?' Amber asked her.

Haven tugged Amber's hair behind her ear and looked at her.

'Will you be able to handle all this?' Haven asked as she looked at herself.

'I can handle you. Just like you I suffered death and you brought me back. I can't live without you and you can't either. Otherwise you wouldn't have turned into that huge snake that time,' she mocked.

'You really pay attention! If I agree to marry you then my lovely girl, you will have to drink my blood daily. Can you do that?'

'I can as long it's you. I am yours and you are mine. We are just one, so are you going to give me a proper reply now?'

'Can you stop being impatient?'

'No, I have been waiting for two weeks for this,' she said and just like a nymph Amber licked Haven's lips and she moaned.

'I can torture you like this until you give me an answer Haven,' she threatened her.

'Since when did you become like this?'

'Ever since I realized that being without you makes me mad,' Amber said continuing her torture.

Haven could feel her blood running in her bloodstreams. Her heart was racing like crazy and Amber was succeeding on making her wanton.

Haven pulled Amber down to her and kissed her hard and long. Amber pulled back after a while and looked at her.

'Is it a yes?'

'Yes, I will marry you. I can never marry anyone else besides you Amber St Claire,' Haven said smiling at her fiancé now.

What was going to be lying ahead of her with this new love of hers? All she wanted was just to live a happy and a long life with Amber.

'Let's get married next week,' Amber shouted.

'No, let's put things in order first before we do that baby girl. And just because we are getting married, you won't be slacking in your studies. If you do I won't marry me at all!' Haven said.

'You can't do that?'

'I can baby. Have you forgotten who your fiancé is already?' she asked and saw Amber's face changing.

'I almost forgot that you are the Viper. I won't slack in my studies,' she said sounding low.

'Now, aren't you going to put the ring on my finger?'

'I will do that now,' she said and Haven smirked.

Amber saw it and she punched her.

'Ouch!' Haven cried out.

'I'm sorry,' Amber said laughing.

Haven smiled at her playful fiancé and let her put the seven gem ring on her finger.

Haven hugged Amber so tightly and found tears rolling down her cheeks. In her life she had never thought that she will meet a person like Amber who was willing to follow her both in life and death; someone who could just accept her as she was; both righteous and evil.

In Amber, Haven had found an eternal partner, someone she was going to share the rest of her life with. Someone she had shared he blood bond with. Now she was wondering if Amber knew the consequences of having her blood but who cares, she wasn't going to ruin anything at this moment. It was a special night, one she was going to cherish for the rest of her life.

'I love you too Amber,' she said and heard Amber laughing.

She couldn't wait to tell the whole world that Amber was hers.
