LEGEND OF THE VIPER(COMPLETE)

CHAPTER 3

She was in class, her eyes glued to her notebook as she read through Haven White's profile. There weren't a lot of details especially for a conglomerate daughter. Her other siblings profiles were loaded but for hers, it was as if someone had erased everything. It didn't matter anyway because she had got what she wanted. She didn't want to love someone simply because of the information she acquire through the web, she was going to personally dig the information out herself.

She closed her notebook and looked at her watch. It was lunch time already but she didn't feel like eating. She checked her time table and she was free after lunch. She was going to leave school and go shopping. She packed her bags and got ready to leave.

'You are leaving already?' Mary asked her.

She looked at Mary and hissed at her.

'I am leaving and it's none of your business,' she said and left it Mary was very insistent because she followed her.

'What exactly do you want from me Mary? You took everything from me and now you want to be friends again?'

'I am very sorry, i just want to talk.'

'No, it's already too late for that. You can have him all to yourself and i am over him already. I have important things to do and they don't include you at all. So if you don't want to end up in the hospital, get out of my way,' Amber warned Mary and she finally left her alone.

Amber smiled to herself and left the campus. Her car still hadn't arrived so she was using one of her dad's car while she waited. She drove home where she found her mom.

'Mom, what are you doing here?' she asked shocked to her at home.

'This is my house last time i checked girl. I should be asking why you came home during lunch time?'

'I have no lectures so i decided to come home and then go shopping,' she answered her.

'Didn't you go shopping two weeks ago?'

'I did but now i have a purpose.'

'Are you pursuing someone child?'

'You can say so. I haven't started yet, and i want to prepare myself.'

'What kind of a guy would say no to my pumpkin?'

'He did,' she muttered under her breath.

'Forget about him honey. He was no good. It is a good thing he is gone, we never liked him. I want you to be happy and that asshole is good riddance.'

'Don't worry mom, this time is different. This one will not hurt me.'

'When are you going to show me this new guy?'

'When the time is right i will.'

'Just give it your all and be yourself girl.'

'Yes mom. I will keep that in mind. I have to go now,' she said and eloped from her mom.

She drove away from the mansion and went to the mall. The mall was crowded but she didn't mind, she had a goal. She had seen that Haven was mostly seen with girls which meant that she might be into girls. So Amber was going to turn herself into a very sexy doll, that way Haven will never say no to her.

She began her shopping, money to her was never a problem. It took her about three hours to find three perfect dresses and their matching shoes before she headed back home. When she arrived she asked for Haven's contact details from her mother.

'You finally want to meet her now?'

'Yes, do you think i should bring her a gift?'

'Of course you should. We should show our appreciation that is what makes us human.'

'Okay then. I will find some,' she said and left home again.

Last time Amber saw Haven she was driving a motorcycle so she decided to buy accessories for the bike. After her shopping spree she returned home and have someone wrap it for her.

She took out her phone and dialed Haven's number. The phone was picked up by another woman and she felt her heart sink. This wasn't Haven so who the heck was she?

'Hello, who is it?' the other woman asked on the other side.

'My name is Amber St. Claire and i would like to speak to Ms. Haven White please,' she said politely and trying to be calm.

'Please, wait a moment,' the other woman said and somehow she felt relieved. Judging from the way she was speaking, Amber could tell that she was an employee which was good.

The woman returned after a minute and informed her that Haven was out but she can meet her at Legacy Club at 7 p.m. and to not be late.

Amber was excited, she wanted to meet her at such a cozy place. Who was she to refuse?

Amber took her time to prepare for the appointment. She put on one of the dresses she bought earlier since she wanted to impress.

When her mom saw her she was impressed.

'Wow! Baby you look gorgeous. Where are you going dressed like that?'

'I am going to meet Haven,' she answered truthfully.

'You look like someone who is going out to hook someone. Just be careful out there, don't want anything happening to you,' her mother said with a tone of worry.

'I will be careful, i promise,' she said and left the house with her gift.

She drove excitedly all the way to the club. When she arrived she showed her I.D and was brought inside. She was taken to the private booths where she saw Haven flirting with a bunch of girls which drained her automatically. Would she even be interested in someone like her?

Haven saw her and motioned her to come over and she did it with zero confidence.

'You may go now,' Haven dismissed the girls that left after giving her some peck on her lips and this broke Amber's heart.

'I can see that you are now okay,' Haven said as she brought her attention back to her.

'Yes, i am. Thank you for saving me back then,' she said forcing out a smile.

'No need. I did something anyone would have done in my position.'

'I heard it from my parents but i still wanted to show you my gratitude,' Amber said and gave her the gift she had prepared.

Haven watched her for a moment and smiled. Her smile was beautiful and she fell for her deeper.

'Thank you, it means a lot,' she said as she accepted the gift. 'Can i open it?'

'Yes you can. It's yours after all,' Amber said and chuckled. She couldn't believe this at all.

Haven tore apart the wrapping paper and Haven couldn't help but admire how manly she was. Haven took out the leather outfit she had bought for her.

'This is absolutely my size. I love it, thanks,' Haven thanked her with a smile on her face once more.

'I am glad that you love it. I was afraid that you may dislike it,' she said shyly playing with her fingers like some kindergarten kid.

'I am not like any other girl Amber. So how old are you?'

'I am nineteen.'

'You are young but not too young. You are very beautiful too and you need to be careful wherever you go. The world is a dark place and i wouldn't like to see you in another accident again,' Haven said as she drank her wine.

Amber could feel her heart racing like crazy.

'Thank you,' she stammered.

Haven smiled and passed her a glass of soda which she gulped down.

'Can you dance?'

Amber nodded her head quickly in response. She was shocked by the question that she couldn't let another word out.

'Do you mind having a dance with me?'

'No, i don't mind.'

'Good then,' Haven said as she stood up.

Haven stretched her hand and Amber took it. She stood up and Haven embraced her in her arms and she was gone. This was like a dream come true, she thought to herself.

The two began to dance to the slow music being played. Amber could feel Haven's calm heart beats. She danced along and moved according to her rhythm. She was in trouble, she knew it but she couldn't help it. At first she thought it was caused by the way Haven helped her but now she could tell that she was in love. She was madly in love with Haven and Haven was a playgirl. She was in great trouble.

'What are you thinking about?'

'Just that you are the second woman i have ever danced with,' Amber lied through her teeth.

'Is that so? So who was the other lucky one?'

'My mother.'

'I am fluttered then,' Haven said and tugged Ambers hair being her ear.

Amber felt the sparks all over her body and she gasped.

'Are you okay?' Haven asked her.

'I am okay,' she answered very lowly.

'Are you attracted to me Amber?' Haven asked her straight out and she was so embarrassed she wanted the earth to just swallow her right there.

'I....' she couldn't even muster the courage to continue the sentence when Haven cut her in.

'You can't fall for me girl. I can't love you the way you do. I want you so bad but i don't want you to be just some fuckbuddy of mine. You deserve better,' Haven said and she felt hurt.

Amber understood that she was being honest but it still hurts. She couldn't help but let her tears roll down her cheeks after bearing it. How could she just reject her like that before anything happens. What if she had accepted to be her fuckbuddy. She just wanted to be around her even when it meant being that way.

Haven wiped away her tears and did the unthinkable. Haven cupped her cheeks and lowered her mouth towards Amber's. Amber smiled as Haven kissed her mouth and she couldn't help but kiss the older woman back. Amber had been kissed but this woman was just so amazing. Amber hooked her arms around her neck as the two suck on each other tongues and bite each other lips.

The kiss became heated and Amber felt Haven's hands roaming all over her body and she began grinding against her. She wanted her but Haven suddenly stopped and she nearly hissed at her.

'Did i do something wrong?' Amber asked as soon as their intimate moment came to an abrupt end.

'No, little one you didn't,' Haven said and kissed Amber on the forehead. 

'I have an important meeting i need to go too. You should go back home safely,' Haven said looking so different.

Just like that it was as if she was looking at different people. What happened to the one that was kissing her a while ago? Because she didn't want to be on her bad side, she followed the guards that safely escorted her out.

She put on smile. She was going to win her one way or the other. Haven was attracted to her a lot, she had witnessed it already. She was going back home and think of ways to win that cold woman's heart. With a smile Amber returned back home.

It wasn't the first time she had been attracted to a girl but she was in trouble. Amber was a very young and a hot headed girl. The moment she walked into the club she saw heads turning. It wasn't the first time she had seen her.

Haven realized that she was bisexual when she was sixteen. She loved dearly and got hurt dearly too in the process. In the end she decided not to give anyone her heart and became a playgirl but now Amber was stirring trouble.

The second Amber walked in Haven knew that she wanted her. The way Amber was looking at her, fidgeting and playing with herself was so fascinating. She could tell that Amber was attracted to her. The problem was her age and there was no way she was going for that.

In a moment of lust Haven found herself devouring the little girl and it felt like heaven she didn't want to stop. She wanted to make love to her right there. She was scared, she didn't want her to find out the real her behind that whole façade. She didn't want to lose someone she feel so greatly for especially after many years of guarding her heart.

There was one way to settle the matter and it was to get laid with another girl and get rid of this crazy obsession with Amber.

'Lee!' Haven called out and she appeared.

'How can i be of service?'

'Get me three beautiful ones to my place. You know the drill,' Haven said winking at her.

'I will take care of it,' Lee said and disappeared.

Haven smiled as she think of the service she was going to receive later.

TWO DAYS LATER

She was feeling very refreshed and it was her day off though she was the boss. In her organization no one worked on a Sunday.

'Morning beautiful,' Lisa purred behind her.

Haven had forgotten completely that she was still there.

'The car is ready, you can leave now,' Haven said ignoring any other attention Lisa was making.

'You always say that,' Lisa complained.

'I pay you for your services. Now scram before i throw you out!'

Lisa was scared after that. She left her home with the driver and finally she had some peace. Haven dressed up and got ready to leave. She was going to have some fun outside. She took an elevator to her underground parking lot and chose the motorcycle lot. She had a lot of them but she chose a Suzuki Hayabusa. She turned on the ignition and drove out of the underground parking.

Her parking lot allowed her to leave the mansion secretly without being monitored. Using the secret road she was on the highway a few minutes later. She loved the fresh air hitting her like that. She felt so good. This reminded her of the night Amber had an accident because she was so eager to race her. She felt so bad that night she just wanted the little girl to live. However what she did was so funny she couldn't help but smile whenever she thought of it.

She passed through a restaurant she knew so well and it was on sale. She couldn't help herself but walk inside to inquire about the issue.

'Why are you selling?' Haven asked as she ate her bowl of bone soup.

'We are old now and want to settle down in the country side and live peacefully. We have debts to pay as well,' the old lady said and she smiled at her.

After asking more she realized the couple couldn't get a loan and even of they did, they had to work till they die paying it off so it was better for them to sell it.

So in the end Haven decided to but the restaurant. She wanted to expand their business and this restaurant was good business.

'We can't thank you enough,' the old lady said her face full of joy.

'You don't have to say that. I will have a lawyer come to sign the contract with you tomorrow. Have a good day,' she said as she stood up.

'Have a good day too.'

Haven left the restaurant with a smile. There were so many things one could do with a restaurant.

As she was driving she received a call from Gina and she just wanted to rip her head off.

'What part of don't disturb me on this day don't you understand?'

'I am sorry boss but it's important.'

'It better be. What is it?'

'It's your dad. He wants to see you.'

'I don't recall him ever wanting to see me often. Did he tell you what he wanted?'

'He didn't but he sounded very worried. Just go and see him.'

'Fine. I will do so.'

Haven hung up and drove to her new destination, her family home. They all had no idea of what she did in life which didn't surprise her or hurt her.

After parking her bike and removing her helmet, she walked inside 

When she got inside the place was crowded. What party were they having again? 

'There you are. I thought you won't come,' her mother said and she could hear the scorn in her voice.

'You wanted me here so here i am. What do you want?' she asked wanting to leave the place as soon as possible.

'Come and sit. What are you wearing?'

'Clothes mother,' she replied as she followed her inside and took a seat.

Everyone was present and all dresses up and they were all looking at her with contempt. It must be her dress code but she wasn't to blame. She just took a glass of water and drank.

'So why am i here?' she asked once more without even greeting anyone.

'We have guests and you didn't greet anyone. What kind of a person are you? Anyway that won't matter, i have something for you,' her mother said and she knew that she was scheming about something.

'First i won't change my clothes, second you brought me her under false pretenses. I have plans too. If there is anything in the future please tell me in advance,' she said pissed at her family.

'What important things could you possibly have? You don't even have a real job unlike your siblings. You should be proud that we include you in these meetings,' her mother said with a tone full of mockery.

'One of these days you will regret ever degrading me down like this,' she said hissing under her breath.

'There they are!'

That called for her attention. She was curious about this guests they were receiving. When everyone was excited upon seeing the guests she couldn't help but smile. It was indeed a small world.

'Haven meet Mr. O'Neal and Mr. Powell, they own a successful venture company,' her mother specifically included that in her introductions. That was probably meant for her.

She smiled as she saw how their heads were still bowed down.

'It's nice to meet you and lose the honorifics,' she said the last part lower. She didn't want anyone to know what she was into after all 

'It's an honor to meet you in person and up close like this,' they both said and she smiled at them.

'The pleasure is all mine,' she said with a smile.

Everyone was wondering what was going on but she was in no mood to explain. These men were her sons, they belonged to her cult so how could they not recognize her?

'Can you please excuse ne?' she said and left the room.

She needed a smoke, so she lit one and got caught by her mother.

'You smoke?'

'Yes, i do and please don't start. I am not in the mood.'

'I won't but I am glad that the guests like you so i have nothing to worry about.'

'And why should you be worried?'

'One of those two will be arranged for your marriage partner.'

She wanted to roll on the ground and laugh her guts out but she restrained herself.

'I am a lesbian mother. I only do girls,' she said though it was a half lie since she was bisexual. She could be with a man but she loved women more now.

'How can you be so disgusting? Since when?' Haven's mother was fuming with so much anger.

'If you have ever paid attention to me you would have known.'

'Let's go back inside and pretend this never happened,' her mother said but she wasn't buying it.

'This isn't a game mother. I will not change and i have no intention of making your life easier too. Since i came, it's time for me to leave. I have things i need to finish and you can do anything without me,' she said.

'You should at least eat your lunch. Don't embarrass me!'

After a number of rounds of exchanging words she finally returned back inside and ate her lunch quietly. After finishing her food she excused herself.

'Where are you going?'

'Home, where i belong,' she said as she left the place she grew up without any love or affection. She really loathed the place.

Outside she was busy putting on her helmet when the guests came running after her and gave their quick bows before she released them.

'We didn't know it was you, we are very sorry Viper.'

'It's okay, be normal and act cool. Don't say a word about this. And when you get back inside reject any marriage arrangement,' she said with a smile. They understood her every word and she doubted that they will be so brave to try anything else.

'Anything for you Viper.'

'See you at the next meeting then. Any word about this and i will punish you heavily.'

'We understand.'

After scaring the hell out of her children Haven drove out of her pathetic family compound with a smile.
