“V-Viel…” My voice came out as nothing more than a fragile whisper as I struggled for air. His hand found mine instantly, gripping it tightly. “We’re here. We’re at the hospital.” The world around me spun as I forced my eyes open. Figures in white rushed toward us, voices overlapping, urgent and sharp. A stretcher appeared beside me, and before I could react, they were already lifting me onto it. “Anaphylaxis,” one of the nurses said quickly. “Possible severe allergic reaction.” Their words echoed faintly in my ears, as if I were sinking underwater. The surrounding noise dulled, fading into a distant hum. “V-Viel…” I called again, weaker this time, my body trembling. “I’m here.” His voice broke through the haze, firm yet shaking. His fingers tightened around mine, refusing to let go.
