School just dragged on, and I wondered where Sean was. It elated me when the bell rung, signaling school was over. I put my stuff in my locker and headed towards the door.
“Laney, wait up,” I heard. It was Rain.
“Let me drive you home,” She said.
I nodded and sent a text to Josh, letting him know I would get a ride with her. He had to stay after for Football practice, anyway. He messaged me back that he would pick me up at six.
Today was hard as Cassie just went on and on about Sean. I had a feeling Jeremy was her mate because he seemed to get upset every time she did.
“So, what are you doing today?” Rain asked.
“Josh is taking me to the movies later, but maybe we could hang out a few hours at my house until he comes,” I said.
“Sounds fun,” She said as she pulled out the drive.
