The retrieval unit was dispatched to locate and extract Dr. Cyrah from her lab. She cooperated until they bagged the glass rod on her desk. That was when she lashed out at the officer collecting the rod, trying to wrench it from his hands and dash it against the floor.

Since any act of excessive force resulted in immediate and permanent expulsion from the police force, Dr. Cyrah was delivered unharmed to the precinct, carried there by second-level transport with all the pomp and circumstance of a queen.
