Melody
The middle-aged man touched my forehead to feel my temperature. However, he jumped backwards as my body convulsed.
"What is wrong with her?" Gio's worry-filled voice made me sad. I tried to speak but my tongue felt like it was jammed and glued to my mouth.
I couldn't speak, but I could hear everything loud and clear.
I looked down at my chest, thinking the loud thumping was from my heart, but it wasn't. There were numerous heartbeats and murmurs. Everyone spoke at once and I could hear it all.
What I found strange was how loud I could hear their heartbeats.
