  Ruby's POV   We laughed as I texted Beth our location in case she wanted to join us. We reached the most famous club in town, and we walked right in without standing in line because Manon slipped the guard a few bills.   The club was vibrant and alive, filled with swirling colored lights. The music boomed through the speakers, and people danced energetically. The atmosphere was hot and electric.   "Do you smell his scent?" I asked Manon about the loud music as she led us to a free table, her eyes scanning the crowd and her nose sniffing the air.   "No, but we'll linger for a while.
