"Zylon, it's good to see your face," I said, locking gazes with him. In that moment, it felt as if the rest of the world faded away, leaving just the two of us. Zylon's large, warm hands gently cradled my face. "Thank you for accepting the mate bond. We will strive every day to be worthy of you," his voice deep and sincere.
I nodded, "Be honored, because I'm willing to give this a try. Just don't mess it up," I replied, a playful smirk dancing across my lips. His blue eyes twinkled with joy, and he leaned down to press a tender kiss to my forehead. A rush of warmth spread through me. I couldn't help but blush; the simple gesture felt sweetly intimate.
"We won't," he replied firmly. His gaze flicked over to his twin, who nodded his head in silent agreement.
