Zylon's POV
I arrived at my office, where Hayes, Tate, Shane, and Jang were already gathered. "Ruby's in more danger than we thought," Hayes began. I nodded in agreement. For now, she was safe with us in the pack, but what if they managed to infiltrate it?
"How did they know the Luna would be at the border?" Shane asked.
"According to the head archer, they were just taking a gamble. They didn't want her dead; they just wanted to weaken her. When she was vulnerable, two rogues would swoop in and take her," Hayes explained.
"And Henry's witch?" I inquired.
"I'm going to Henry's pack in an hour. That witch knew about the danger but didn't warn us," Hayes said through gritted teeth.
"Ruby can no longer leave this pack. It's too dangerous," I added. Tate was still seething
