Jane's POV (Ashley's mum) I dressed in black mum jean, blouse and flats the night of Ash's wake, with no makeup, my sons are here with me and my daughter lying in a Funeral Home. I finished a stiff drink as I tied my hair into a messy bun. In recent weeks I had drunk more than in all my previous years put together, which might become a cause for concern in other circumstances, but all that mattered was getting over my grieve. By the time I had finished my drink down to the ice cubes the only present here that I was scared to face was that of Ash. When I passed the room where Ash's boyfriend sat drinking himself to stupor, he rose and came to the doorway, It was the first time I was seeing him since he was released on bail due to lack of concrete evidence against him as Ash's murderer.
