“Huh?” I looked at Aiden trying to read his expression.
“I’m serious Davina, I love you and at this point I can’t imagine my life without, you’ve brought me so much peace and happiness, I really hope you’d give me another chance”
“Aiden not today” i said trying to walk away but he won’t let me.
“Why not?”
“I feel like we’re not compatible as lovers, so it’s best if we just remain friends”
“Why would you say we’re not compatible?”
“Friends tend to communicate with each other but you never do that, you ghost me when things aren’t okay and come back later to tell me you’re sorry, that’s definitely not how relationships work”
“Davina I’m really sorry, I promise it won’t ever happen again”
“What about your family? You can’t promise me that they’d be cool with us dating”
